The staff are amazing and the food is quite good. I was really excited to eat out on the garden patio but, ended up really disappointed. The outside deck is right between 2 big, loud HVAC systems. Further, the patio furniture which looks so nice from a distance is actually worn and torn. The inside however has a really nice, relaxing vibe and I’ll be going back soon.

This was my first visit to Fosters Boiler Room. The atmosphere is really neat. I love that there were fireplaces & fires going. It makes it so cozy. Especially on a rainy night like tonight!

We were seated down in a hole below the kitchen. We saw no exit or sign. We had to walk by the kitchen to leave. If the kitchen had a problem we would never have gotten out. We were hungry so we we took our chances. The steak was too well done and tough. I thought that one small steak, big spoon full of potatoes, and 2 cauliflowers under cooked so couldn’t chew them. All in all it seemed like it was not worth $30.

I’ve been to Foster’s several times and it’s always pretty good. Last time I went, I asked for my burger as rare as they’d cook it and it was beautifully pink throughout the entire burger. The whole meal was delicious and our server was sweet as could be! Always a great place to get very tasty food!

Way more atmosphere than I would guess from the outside. Cool history and amazing creativity to convert this structure into a restaurant. Very cozy and quaint. We could talk without raising our voices. The food was delicious.

Such great atmosphere and historical photos and quotes on the walls… And the food was great! I had the fish and chips, and my husband had one of their steak dishes. Both were fantastic. Reuben fritters and snowballs were fascinating local dishes, too!

Great food, good service, unique atmosphere. We had a group of four and everyone enjoyed their meal. Calamari appetizer was good. Staff took care of us pretty well. “Snowballs” dessert was large enough to share among 3ppl.
