Plant based Cafe in Potsdam NY serving smoothie bowls, toasts, wraps, and breakfast items including pancakes, waffles, omelettes, and french toast. Other items rotate with seasonability including salads, soups, sides etc. Our mission is to provide local and organic products as much as possible and support local farms and businesses. We have a focus on the environment with choices throughout the Cafe based on sustainability, recycling, and repurposing.

I love grabbing lunch here! They serve vegan food that everyone, even meat eaters, will love. I’m particularly fond of their smoothie bowls. I’ve also gotten toast with avocado and tomato made with a deliciously hearty bread. I have brought numerous people here to eat and everyone is able to find something they enjoy. The eat-in space is bright and roomy and I’ve never had difficulty getting a table. If you’re looking for someplace where you can get quick food that is absolutely delicious and healthy on top of it, definitely consider coming here.

Our Potsdam class of 73 needed gluten free vegetarian food for a handful of people attending our 50th reunion. We were a bit stumped about what to do. Lynzie offered to make and deliver meals to us, after the shop was closed. She went way beyond to accommodate us and frankly, the food was so good that the rest of us wished we had also ordered from here. I’m a meatetarion, but I will eat here next time I’m in town. Lynzie gave us classic North country service . Much appreciated.

Fast service, good smoothie. The person I spoke with that worked there was very helpful. I got the super sidekick smoothie, had a light flavor. Thankful they made it correctly and it didn’t taste too intense. First time trying pea milk, couldn’t taste it in the smoothie.

We ordered lunch on our way through the area- great food and decidedly decent priced. There is a fairly wide variety for a smaller Cafe and we each got something different but equally enjoyable. I was particularly impressed at how the Buffalo tofu came out, not too spicy with the perfect consistency. The staff was very friendly as made sure we got what we wanted, even asking if I preferred my coffee light or dark. Would definitely recommend stopping in and seeing what they have.

We have seen this restaurant over the past several months and weren’t quite sure what it was. Today we finally stopped. My husband was skeptical of the only vegan menu; to the point we considered taking him somewhere else for food afterwards. I, however, was excited! Not vegan, but health conscious for sure. He decided upon entering that he would try the Buffalo tofu wrap, and commented several times on how he was glad he tried it, and that tofu was amazing. Like, enjoyed it more than his usual buffalo chicken. I agreed. Tofu isn’t always done well but Foster the Plant does it amazingly! The locally sourced veggieful salad with resomary balsamic was also incredible. Will most definitely be making this our Potsdam restaurant stop from here on out.

I’ve become a regular at FTP after I first tried it out last winter and the acai banana (now the OG bowl) is always my go to. Very reasonable pricing and I definitely recommend to any one ever in the area!
