I could not have wished for a better birthday dinner than the experience that my partner and I had at this marvellous restaurant. Possibly the finest meal I have ever had. I turned 67 that night! We will definitely return to Johann and Collis’s place and with luck before my 68th birthday . . . N.B. You really have to book as it’s becoming renowned.

Lovely restaurant by the gates into Richlieu, came recommended and did not disappoint. Had at least two vegetarian options available on menu. I had the ricotta Ravioli and my friend had the octopus dish. Lovely flavours and well prepared, good wine menu too and great dessert!

The menu is fantastic with a variety of interesting and delicious options. Well presented. Wine list is also very good. I loved the atmosphere and the service was faultless, especially as we were a group of 12.
I am not a cocktail person but I got the urge to try one of their own concoctions. It was the perfect start to a great experience!

We had a really wonderful dinner here on Wednesday 5th June, including a fabulous performance from the singing waiter/proprietor, in a duet with one of our guests! The food was excellent throughout, the atmosphere charming and we felt very well looked after. It is also very good value for a place of such quality. This restaurant is definitely worth a detour and we will be back at the earliest opportunity!

We had an enchanting dinner at this charming restaurant under new management in Richelieu. The food was exceptional and the service efficient, gracious and entertaining. The setting is beautiful. And Richelieu is a gem. Take a walk in the nearby park before or after dinner.
