I was excited when I arrived, I generally like buffets. Unfortunately, literally all the food was underwhelming. If it wasn’t dried out and burnt from sitting under a heat lamp, it was bland, oily, unpleasant tasting, or some combination of the three. The peanut butter chicken was so oily, I had to press it into my napkin, completely saturating it. Even the dessert table was approaching offensive – somehow the chocolate chip cookies were unsavory, and the ice cream had no taste other than “cold”. The light green ice cream that I presumed to be mint may have been pistachio, but given the lack of flavor, I can’t confirm. A horrible experience for $17+ per person.

A literal cockroach in my lemonade. Mold right above our table. The food that was once a staple has drastically changed in quality. Hard white rice, food is warm not hot or fresh sometimes even cold. The food has become very bland. I hate that this place is slowly turning down its quality. It’s only a matter of time customers catch on & start ditching. I have been around for over a decade coming here. Once I saw the roach automatically i turned to check my other cups & behold our drinks had spots of what looked like grease, as if the cups were not washed correctly or possibly MOLD. Won’t be coming back anymore. I’m very very upset. Didn’t get a discount either had to pay full.

Disappointed is an understatement, food was bland and barley warm. But the worst part about it was how dirty the establishment is. Unbelievably dirty… would definitely not recommend coming here.

Haven’t been to a Chinese buffet in so long but this really hit home for me! We came during the lunch special and it was only $24 for two people! So affordable and so worth it!! The meat was not dried out, the fish was fresh and not fishy, chow mein was so so good! And the ice cream there for dessert was the icing on the cake! I can’t wait to go back!

I have been to this buffet a couple of times, my first time was a few years ago and my most recent visit was June 27. We came a few minutes before the dinner buffet started, so we had the dinner buffet. I have been to the lunch buffet before, and I would say that both are worth it. The prices for the buffet are pretty reasonable, and they do offer senior discounts. The options available were great, and the staff was very attentive when it came to clearing out plates. Getting drink refills without asking was hit or miss for me, but it was easy to ask for a refill. I had a variety of offerings (picture captions will include what’s on the plates), and was pleased with all of the ones that I tried. Some of the food such as the fried dumplings were a little cold, and the wontons in the wonton soup could have used a little more meat, but overall I enjoyed their offerings. They have food aimed for children, as well, such as chicken nuggets, french fries, and mac and cheese. The hibachi station was nice, though the offerings in that station were a little sparse when I went. I’m not sure if I did the station wrong but it appeared as if you have to add the sauce after it is cooked, which made for a soupy hibachi. I prefer mine cooked with the sauce so the flavors get infused a little better. They have a wide variety of desserts as well. I had ice cream and almond cookies. I cannot quite speak to the sanitary conditions of the place, it was pretty clean when I went, but buffets have a problem with items getting mixed into each other. Overall, I think that this place has a lot of great options for food, and the price is worth it. The service is satisfactory, and the experience is nice.

Everything you need to know about Fortune Buffet in 2023. (1) Food- Most of it is disgusting. You might find a few items during the course of your “meal” that aren’t either overcooked, dried out, foul smelling and visibly repugnant. Seems they have very low standards when it comes to making food. Just put it out there, they’ll eat it seems to be their philosophy. “We Don’t Care” their motto. In layman’s terms most of the food they serve is nasty.

You can serve yourself again. Some of it was warm, not hot. This was the 1st time in a few months that I have eaten here. I was happy to see that their prices had not gone up much. The restaurant was not crowded when we got there, but just before we left an extremely large and noisy group came in. They lost power, but did not stop people from coming in! There was very little lighting. None of the employees were guiding people to their seats. People were pushing and shoving trying to get up from my seat to leave, people at the table behind us knocked me over twice. It was not very crowded. We got there right around opening and alot of the food looked 1/2 empty and had been picked through. The food felt barely hotter than room temperature. It makes me think that the food is left out overnight.
