Wow is all I can say about this place! The view is only eclipsed by the food and service! Their open kitchen is spotless! The food and drink selection is the best of the best! If you are in Brooklyn Fornino Pier 6 is a must go, must eat, must repeat. And if you are looking for a workout they have beach volleyball right next to the outside dining option!!!! Just go and see it for yourself! You will thank me.

Pizza recipes are delicious, only thing is they came to us burnt. Views are incredible. Service was very friendly.

Discover Fornino, an unexpected treasure nestled in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Upon arrival, it may seem like your typical pizza joint, but follow Ingrid upstairs and step into a whole new atmosphere. Witness the chefs crafting pizza masterpieces while the vibrant music sets the mood. Venture further to find a surprise—a volleyball court reminiscent of Miami Swim Week.

Start your culinary journey with tantalizing appetizers like the Fried Smashed Potatoes, Anna Rosa’s Meatballs, and refreshing salads including Caesar and Watermelon. Don’t miss out on their signature Watermelon Frozen Drink, a perfect companion for a warm day.

Now, onto the main event—the pizzas. Indulge in their thin yet satisfying pies like the Corn & Spicy Honey, adorned with mixed mushrooms, caciocavallo, mozzarella, pecorino, and a hint of white truffle oil. Savor the fiery kick of the Calabrese pie, featuring tomato, mozzarella, sopressata piccante, parmesan, and aromatic oregano. Lastly, relish the flavors of the Spinach pie, topped with mixed mushrooms, caciocavallo, mozzarella, pecorino, and a drizzle of white truffle oil.

Fornino Pizza has effortlessly secured its place in my top 5 must-visit spots in Brooklyn!

I’ve been here a few times and usually sit on their rooftop (which has really nice views), but when I came here last week Friday, it was closed so we sat on the patio. It was peak baby time so there were A LOT of kids around. The weather was really nice, so I was bummed the rooftop was closed. I ordered the Lambrusco and the Roast Corn & Coppa pizza, but asked them to omit the corn (I didn’t like the sound of corn on a pizza!). The pizza and wine were great. I could’ve used more spice on the pizza, but that’s just me. The prices here are reasonable. All in all, it’s a great option for when you’re in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The atmosphere was amazing and the good was delicious. We visited on a beautiful day and sat outside. You can sit on the rooftop (beautiful view) or you can sit downstairs at the picnic tables. Either way, it was a great place to stop as we walked through Brooklyn Bridge Park. Highly recommend!

At first I was disappointed that the pizza had a 40 minute delay, but after I tasted our food I was glad that we didn’t order pizza. Best Eggplant Sandwich EVER. Love the touch of pesto. Best Chicken Caesar Salad. Perfectly dressed and fresh. Very good Sangria. So impressed. Would definitely go back.

Highly suggest that management switch out the clunky umbrellas on the rooftop as it gets very crowded and it is virtually impossible to get through with a wheelchair.

A casual spot that’s good for either a date or group setting. Definitely recommend sitting upstairs; a better view of the city. The summer salad and meatballs were both good starters and everyone enjoyed the pizza. Can easily have one pie to yourself.

The only thing I’m not a fan of is ordering through the QR code.

We’ve walked by this place for years and finally decided to try it… Great little spot to stop in the park for water/juice/beer/etcetera. Public bathrooms available. The pizza is just OK, its not bad at all but I wouldn’t make this a “destination” spot for a good pizza by any means. That being said if you’re in the park and feel like taking a food break this is a solid option. The pizzas are small, sort of like 10 inches across in a personal pan pizza style. Photos below… keep in mind the rooftop area requires reservations. The bottom area is more casual without requiring reservations. They give you a table number and then they bring the food out to where you’re sitting.

Loved our experience here! There’s a cafe downstairs and a restaurant on he rooftop. We went to the roof. Lovely staff, great food, and a comfy atmosphere with plenty of umbrellas for shade on hotter days. The prices are great, considering it’s a rooftop restaurant in NYC, and we all know how that can be sometimes. Highly recommend!

Friendly service. Rooftop atmosphere is casual and nice. Jalapenos cocktail was good. Red sangria was not good though it had chucks of apples. Smashed potato fries are a must and excellent. Next time will try the pizzas that everyone was eating.
