We had such a great experience at Fork & Thistle tonight! The staff was amazing, especially Elizabeth & the owner Dave! The food is delicious, many tried different things and everyone loved their meal, you can’t order wrong. (The trifle dessert was incredible too). There’s great variety and different drinks to try too. We can’t wait to be back to try something else!

Had another lunch with customers here. The uniqueness and the ambiance makes it easy to discuss business and impress clients!I can’t even try to explain how great this place is! The food is unbelievably amazing! The atmosphere is inviting and warm! The staff is quite possibly the best in town and the owners are truly beautiful people! You can tell that they all care about their craft! If you haven’t been then GO!

Heard great stuff about this place and we were not disappointed. The owners are hilarious and really try to make sure you feel like you are in an actual pub in Scotland. We had the bangers n mash, the pork and fennel ragout and the steak and ale pie. You can tell everything was homemade and cooked with love. The option to go for family Sunday dinner style food out at a restaurant was really fun and comforting. Will definitely be back and try the breakfast next.

Everything about this place was amazing — I don’t have one bad thing to say. I went with a group of four women, and none of us had been there before. Since we weren’t sure what to order, we all picked something different. Every single meal was incredible, the poutine, fish and tatties, burger and chicken dinner. We tried each other’s dishes and all had the same reaction: so good! The service was fantastic too. Can’t wait to go back. I also highly recommend the Latte Martini.

My husband & I decided to try this new place before going to the theatre next door. We received a very friendly greeting upon arrival, and had front row seats to the masterpieces being created at the bar. We shared an appetizer, each had dinner, and shared a dessert. All items had an outstanding presentation and were all full of great flavours. The team were all very friendly and attentive, this included the owners. The atmosphere was very welcoming and made you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire visit. They clearly have an eye for detail when it comes to food, service & atmosphere to ensure you enjoy your experience just as much as they enjoy you being there. Strongly suggest to try this place, you will happy you did. Thank you so much, we look forward to our next visit.

The food was excellent—proper hearty Scottish dishes done really well. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and clearly great thought given to veggie options.
Afterwards, enjoyed a cracking pint at the bar chatting with the owner himself. Lovely guy—knowledgeable, funny, and full of stories. That personal touch made it special.
