This restaurant has changed. I ordered turkey and dressing, and although the employee corrected me by saying they had cornbread dressing, the portion I received was very disappointing. The turkey wing was also not tender. When I mentioned my concern about the portion of dressing, the employee laughed after I paid and walked to my car.

I came here last year and got the cornbread dressing, and it was pretty good, almost like my grandma’s, who just passed away in January.

This time, I tried calling several times to place my order and no one answered the phone, which was frustrating. When I finally ordered and paid over $17 for a large portion, it was not the same at all. The quality was very disappointing and no one in my family would eat it, so we had to throw it away.
I hate spending money on food that isn’t good. I hope they can improve both the food quality and customer service.

This is going to be very mixed. The food itself was good, a good 4 out of 5 rating. I placed an order and even got there about an hour after it was placed and when my husband went inside they had no idea what order we were talking about so we had to show the receipt PLUS wait even longer for it to be done. Then one of things I ordered being the tilapia wasn’t available (if their website would’ve said that then I would’ve ordered something else or not at all) so I had to settle for whitening. Waited about 15 more minutes just for AFTER the second wait, they took my husband “we have no fries”. Why didn’t they mention that when he first went in, don’t know but it was highly inconvenient to know there was no fries after an hour of waiting. And for final, the utensils and napkins for the food were out in the open, no prepackaged and not wrapped. Just in a container open to the public so I was not a fan to hear the staff without gloves or anything grabbed the forks and napkins with their bare hands, no hand washing in sight. How don’t I know someone picked a booger and then touched my for bare handed, you know? But I mean hey, the food was good but that as about it. Wouldn’t come here again though for the other reasons. I’m big on higiene and the extra wait was horrendous since I had a special needs child in the car waiting and if you know anything about them, waiting still in a car makes everything worst.

This was my first visit and won’t be the last! If you looking for good soul food this would be the perfect spot! I got the turkey wing plate which came with white rice and 2 sides. I got the candied yams and dressing for my sides. The dressing was on point and if you grew up with a mama that can cook you know everyone can’t make dressing . Loved the corn muffin and the chicken gravy option for the white rice. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food they give you. The location is very clean and the staff was. Wry friendly. They even let me sample the dressing before ordering it. Thank you for the great experience! Next time I’ll bring my family to grab a few plates!

I ordered chicken plate, but they obviously don’t fry anything but WINGS….3 of them and 2 sides $18.00 ….And she didn’t tell me that when I ordered. Who wants 3 small wings.. JUMBO??? Just NOT GOING BACK !!! As a US MILITARY Professional I thought it would be worth the price. Plate was Small..!!

I placed a order over the phone for a three piece wing dinner macaroni and cheese and yams and cornbread I’m recovering from surgery so my husband picked it up. This was my first and last time ordering. My husband didn’t look at the food before bringing it home. I was so the wings were cooked in old grease macaroni was OK a little salty yams mushy and the cornbread black specs over it. I would have NEVER served this to anyone. I called back over 14 times no answer they don’t close until 7pm and I sent a email. I don’t recommend this resteraunt under any circumstances run as fast as you can if you want quality food this isn’t the place. What makes it even worst it was a carryout and my husband gave a tip. I believe they didn’t answer because they knew people were calling to complain about their orders. $16.00 dollars for 3 wings and two sides plus tip and you receive pure garbage. I’m really disappointed again first and last time. I want a full refund. They are closed on Monday I will go in person on Tuesday if they don’t refund me I will contact my bank to dispute charges I’m sick and tired of these resteraunts taking consumers money and giving us garbage. Time to stand up for what’s right people work to hard to just throw their money away. Whoever put that plate together should be ashamed they wouldn’t eat it. If you wouldn’t eat it don’t serve that garbage to anyone else.

Best soul food I’ve had in Georgia and I been here 10 years. The baked chicken, Mac and cheese, white rice with gravy just everything so fresh and good. My fiance got their food for the first time and he got the fried wings he gave it a 10/10 all the way down to the lemonade and iced tea. Great food, great service and very clean. Thank you.

Oh yeah. Gabby greeted us right upon our arrival. She was friendly and respectful and accommodating. As well as the other employees. Food was DELICIOUS! With large portions. Prices were not gouging. Place seemed clean. Right across from the mall. Enough food to last for two meals. We drove all the way to eat here! Well worth the drive!!!!

We ordered fried whittling and smothered pork chops. The pork chops were hard, rice mushy and all side were cooked. The Yama were barely edible and the corn bread was not baked well and hard. The young lady at the counter was not personable. She didn’t tell us our food was ready but left it at the counter for us to figure it out. Over all terrible food experience.
