Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Warm welcome at the door, cozy dining area, quick, attentive and friendly service. Dinner was delicious and wait time was on point! My 7 year old son was given a little game that kept us all occupied and enjoying each other’s company. Chocolate cake for dessert was amazing and I highly recommend! Will definitely be back when when we are area. <3

TL;DR the food is great. We’ve met some of the most amazing people there. We love it and go every other month or so. They are family-run, local and it’s important to keep that in mind when you’re visiting. There can be some inconsistencies in the presentation/cooking of the dishes. But they are always delicious.
The Whole Enchilada:
We made a 3.5-day trip from Austin, TX to Vermont to make our new home nearby. Of course, your stuff never makes it in the same time you do, so we were on an air mattress in the living room and working all day long to clean the house and get ready for our furniture to arrive. Great excuse to eat out!
This was the very first place we went on the October 2023 day we arrived.
It was warm and cozy, and we sat near the fire. We had the brussel sprouts side, chowder, salmon, apple crisp, and crème brulée. It was so magical and we instantly fell in love with the place. Photos included!
A few weeks later, remembering how much we loved the soup, I stopped back by to get some to go for my MIL and I. It was $16.95 soup, and they didn’t have the right-sized to-go containers to give us the right amount of soup. They didn’t say anything to me, but they discussed it among themselves, and still sold it that way. I was kind of miffed, but no big deal, I’ll just eat it in person next time. It was so yummy.
Then we went again and had a burger, the steak tips, and the soup. The soup was in a smaller bowl than originally, but seemed like the same price. It was still delicious. I think I would pay almost anything for that chowder, lol. My burger wasn’t cooked medium (was super red inside) but had a great flavor. I took it home to eat it as a leftover. The soup is filling! My husband’s steak tips were amazing! Not our best visit.
Then we went again recently and everything was PERFECT! I had a shrimp po-boy special AMAZING and my husband had the steak tips again (it’s so good). We ran into our favorite server from there (at Ocean State Job Lot) and she mentioned she had left that restaurant, but we’ll still be back. The other servers are lovely, too!
BOTTOM LINE: Eat here. Soak up the local vibe. Love your neighbors.

The Blackened Mahi was outstanding.
Everything was extremely Fresh, and cooked perfectly.
Service was outstanding.
The place has a really nice vibe.
13 beers on tap, A nice variation of craft beers. I enjoyed a True North: Season of the Witch IPA and a Great North: Trail Juice IPA.
They also have what appears to be a very large outdoor dining area, but the weather wasn’t cooperating.

Beautifully refinished old home turned into a comfy, homey dining experience. Ordered the special, chicken parmesan and a salad, the homemade balsamic dressing was good but a little too salty. The chicken was tender and juicy, and pasta fine just right, but the sauce was a little bitter for my taste a little sugar and basil would have made it better. Appetizer was onion rings, the best I’ve had anywhere, light coating done crisp and very tasty! Barbara our waitress is great. Just enough garlic bread with the dinner. It is a pricey place to eat. This was our 2nd time there, much better than our first time when they first opened.

Did not take pics of our food unfortunately but we had an amazing experience here. Our first time eating here while in our travels. We highly recommend . Excellent service. And the food was great. A little pricey but understandable in today’s economy.

I’m half and half with my experience here. The atmosphere was great. The bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly. I guess I just wasn’t thrilled with the meal. At $32 a plate I was expecting something a little more special, especially considering it was a special, and the highest priced one. I don’t know, maybe I got unlucky. The business really does seem top notch. It was okay, nothing I would complain about at the actual restaurant. But I’ve been happier with far less priced entrees many times in my life. Either way I think this place is pretty good. I’m willing to believe that I may have been happier had I ordered something different.

Great food, friendly staff, owner is amazing! We stopped in and had a bit of a unique situation, owner was kind enough to work with us so we were able to get food and beers. She is a sweetheart! Food was excellent, we all had pasta dishes. The chicken parm is “just like mom made it” and was just what we needed after a long day of mountain biking in the area. A must go to go in the area!

Had an excellent meal seated right near the fireplace. Service was incredibly friendly and prompt. The Tuscan pasta and poutine were delicious. Well worth the drive off of I-91.

Nice family owned business. The staff was fun and friendly, even being a little short handed. We had delicious specialty cocktails (Watermelon Cooler and Orange Crush) , and a great Long Island Iced Tea, then since we couldn’t decide we got Pork Wings, Mozzerella Sticks and the Shrimp. We were licking the plates clean!!!! We enjoyed 2 of the flatbreads, Steak Tips, and an Apple Salad on the specials menu that was incredibly delicious.
Our server was a gem, keeping plates cleared and checking on us. The atmosphere was charming and homey, and very clean. We opted to eat inside, but they have a beautiful wrap around porch with seating to enjoy the weather.
Our only regret is that we will not be in town longer to visit again. Definitely worth your time

Lovely little restaurant with a very homey feel, since its in a renovated house. Service was great, food was excellent. Only complaint is their short hours but totally understand why with this small of a population in the surrounding area.
