It is beautiful inside and staff is friendly. Large selection of food, but a lot of hot foods were cold by the time you got to your table. The sushi was inedible, like rubber, and the salmon was not good. I love oriental food, so this was rather a disappointment. Also, be aware your final tab will already have the tip included. The line to add tip says EXTRA TIP.

I’ve been going here for a few years now and I think it’s great for the price. There is a large variety of food and desserts. The food has always been hot and fresh when I’ve been there so I don’t know why all the negative reviews. The staff are always pleasant and friendly.

The atmosphere here is pretty cool, lots of interesting decorations and things to look at, however the floors in the bathroom were so incredibly slick. They did have signs up, but anyone with mobility issues would’ve had a really hard time. We went at dinner time and they had a moderate number of customers at the time. The food looked good and for the most part tasted good, but it had clearly been sitting a long while. The calamari was flat out inedible- hard and rubbery. Some of the tuna at the sushi bar was brown, so we avoided all of that. The best thing I ate there were the potatoes. The service was decent enough, I gave 3 stars because I can’t remember enough about the service one way or another for it to outweigh anything else we experienced. To sum up, the food was a big disappointment and the slick floors were worrisome. The place has potential, but they need work.

Friendly service but poor selection and lackluster taste. There are much better Asian options out there. I won’t be back.

They take advantage of being the only Chinese buffet in Hamilton. The food is cold, low quality, and reheated; nothing looks fresh. Even at the hibachi, the meat looks discolored with dark spots, and the shrimp are not fresh at all and are the smallest size on the market. The fried shrimp are not firm, but rather soggy. The fried calamari is cold, hard, and very chewy, and what they offer as fried scallops look like surimi rolls. The soda has a musty taste that I do not know whether it comes from the cups or from the machine due to a lack of deep cleaning. Now there are signs stating that an automatic gratuity will be charged for groups of six or more people (just for bringing drinks and the check?), and another sign saying they will charge $10 for food waste (if the food is bad and cold, are you forced to eat it anyway?). I would even be willing to pay a little more as long as the food were good quality. It is understandable why you now tend to see fewer people, even on weekends, when it used to be a very busy place.

It used to be a good place to eat, but for a little over a couple of years now they have greatly neglected the quality of the food. We really used to go there very often.

This is the most decked out Chinese buffet I’ve ever seen before. All the decoration is definitely over the top which is super cute. In terms of their food though I was really not impressed. As somebody who is celiac and can’t eat a lot of fried things this was definitely a let down.

Almost all the options for the most part with fried. Some of the food was cold which is pretty typical of a Chinese buffet. For a cheap lunch if you just want to eat shrimp then I think it’s completely worth it but other than that I would not come back here again

It is an all you can eat buffet. The sushi bar is my favorite. It is not the greatest sushi, but it is good. I love the hibachi section. I enjoy making it myself and picking my sauce. They always have a worker refilling any food items that are low. The pictures I took were right before closing, so some might seem empty, but this generally isn’t the case. They have a desert bar and ice cream station. If you are in the mood to eat a bunch, this would be a good place. If not, I would just recommend going to a better restaurant that serves plates… would probably be better quality food.

Lots of choices for both meat lovers and vegetarians. They have a Sushi/ Hibachi area. They also have a bar area thatprovudes cocktails, beer or wine for those who want it. There are several dining rooms at this restaurant and it is family friendly. Thereis a also salad bar and a dessert bar here. There are also items like pizza or other dishes that are not Chinese! So there are options here for anyone and it is always clean. I do highly recommend this restaurant.

All-you-can-eat Pan Asian buffet offered in spacious dining areas with decor adding to a warm and relaxing atmosphere. When I’m in Chattanooga and wanting Chinese food, this is the place to go to. Every time I order something different. Always glad I did as I sometimes discover new foods which becomes favorites. All the staff are attentive and the service is all the better for it. Be aware of the fact per company policy, a customary 15% service charge is added to all parties of six or more, no matter how tickets are split. I recommend Forbidden City restaurant when you are interested in Asian cuisine and atmosphere.
