I had Mongolian Beef and Spicy Soup, both of which were adequate.
The waitress was really nice and attentive, it wasn’t busy at all inside so it was nice and quiet.

Very disappointed! We ordered the Imperial Family Dinner for 6. The egg rolls full of soggy fillers and tasted like they were fried in old dirty grease. The Mongolian Beef was tough and the meat tasted rancid. The other dishes lacked fresh vegetables, looked like they had been reheated many times. The Moo Shoo Pork was meatless. The crepes should have been served with a damp towel in a covered dish. The crepes were served on a plate and immediately were cool and brittle. The won-tons were bland, overcooked to the point there was no cheese inside.
The rice was soggy.
When the food was served, it was already lukewarm. And the round table we sat at was so wobbly we could barely rest our arms on the table without spilling drinks. One redeeming note was our server, Casey. She was friendly and entertaining. But the greeter didn’t bother to smile, make eye contact and simply pointed to our room.
Our family has been coming here for over 40 years with a tradition of birthday celebrations. We were here on a Wednesday early evening. There was only one other table of guests. The kitchen obviously was not busy.

WAY overpriced, for mediocre Chinese food. Bland, low in flavor. $50 for 2 meals, 2 egg rolls and crab rangoon. Will never go back to this place. Trash. Anyone who thinks this is good Chinese for, I feel sorry for your taste buds.

First time at this restaurant, I’ve always heard a lot of good things about it. Our waitress was friendly, but my mom and I were forgotten. Two other tables of people came in 20 minutes AFTER us and they got their drinks first, then their apps first, and then their entrées. So this takes a star off, and the way it made me feel, I probably shouldn’t be so generous and take more stars off. But it wasn’t our servers fault, she was handling too many tables and the owner/manager kept barking more orders at her. Owner/manager was rude, no smile, even at check out. Stone face. Prices for apps were a bit high, $6 for 4 crab cheese, and they weren’t that great. Egg drop soup was weird, not traditional and made with egg whites only. The cashew chicken I do not recommend getting, I had maybe 6 pieces of small unbreaded chicken and the rest was vegetables and cashews and way too salty. First time here, pretty atmosphere, bad experience, mediocre food, unfortunately I will not be back.

Worst experience ever. The lady (owner wife) is the worst person ever i met.She kicked out one customer in front of us just because they asked her something and she did not usderstood what that person told her.How could u do this to people because of who,you are in business.Remember u make money from people so treat them fairly.

I ate here for the first time and was not pleased with the food. I tried the forbidden chicken and the taste was pretty bad. Plus the rice was very plain. The egg rolls were the only good things I ate when I went. Couldnt even finish my meal properly due to the taste. Never again
Now I feel sick from the check hours later

VERY SAD. Been going here 27 years with family. After some longtime suspicion, we we’re able to finally confirm they have been cheating customers. SPECIFICALLY all breaded and deep fried items have a microscopic amount of meat. As 98% that each piece is breading. This is dishonest and wrong. If you cannot afford to give us the food that we’re paying for, then you need to shut down. We all see you now. As compared to The Panda House, of which we have gone to for 27 years. PANDA HOUSE has 75% meat and 25% max breading on all deep fried food.
Be honest with your food, remodel your very tired restaurant, and you’ll be surprised how much the community WILL respond in a positive way.

We had lunch today and saw it had a 4.1 rating so we ventured in big mistake. Our food was bland and boring. My fried rice was gooey and wet. My husband dish was awful no taste not fresh. Mongolian beef that looked like stroganoff. Save yourself don’t visit

Forbidden city, Chinese restaurant is hands-down, the best Chinese food in the Tri-City area. The food is very authentic, gourmet and affordable. Most importantly, the food is delicious.
I highly recommend checking out my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Takeout is also excellent.
