What an adorable coffee shop! The items here are curated so well and the staff is extremely friendly. We loved our drinks that we ordered and the conversations that we had with the employees were even better. I would highly recommend stopping here for a relaxing, elegant, and refreshing stop. There are also many local items that would be great gifts. I look forward to coming back to this coffee shop.

Small suggestion: updating the working hours on social media when they change (on holidays) would be super helpful. I’ve made the 30-minute drive a couple of times only to find it closed. Still a 5* !

This café is an absolute gem! I was traveling with my dogs and looking for places with vegan options. I didn’t realize they were dog friendly until I saw the sign on their door. They graciously welcomed us into the café, gave my pups water and offered them treats.
What made the experience even better were the patrons there. A gentleman that is related to one of the staff played the piano and it was so incredibly beautiful. I really enjoyed speaking with the staff, they were kind and warm people.
The food was great, service phenomenal, atmosphere perfection. I suggest anyone looking for good food and possibly ice cream to stop by. You won’t be disappointed!

Their coffee is top-notch, with a rich taste that speaks to the quality of their beans and the care they put into brewing. The espresso machine seems to be well-maintained and clean, which definitely adds to the flavor.
The sandwiches are another highlight. With their “build your own” option, you can get creative, and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding—most of which appear to come from local vendors. This attention to sourcing adds to the appeal of the place. The pastries are equally impressive. They seem to be made in-house, as I haven’t come across similar options anywhere else. They’re fresh, delicious, and worth trying.
The café itself is cozy, with plenty of seating and a super friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. It’s a great spot to relax or work for a while. However, one suggestion I’d make is to improve the ventilation in the cooking area. While it’s not a major issue, enhancing it could make the ambiance even better.
It’s clear that the place has undergone changes recently—whether it’s a new opening or an ownership change—but the results are fantastic. Forage and Gather has really stepped up its game, and I’m excited to see how it continues to evolve.

Cute and Cozy coffee shop in Catskills mountain region. We tried Cafe Mocha and Strawberry Macha latte and both were great! The have ample indoor and few outdoor sitting which is good. Overall, a good local small business, do give a visit!!!!!

This is a cute little shop. It has a small store in the front with what looks like a lot of organic products. Got an egg and cheese sandwich and flavored latte. They only have whole milk, coconut milk, or almond milk which was slightly disappointing, but the drink was really good, the barista even had a swirl in latte art on the top even though it was to go. The egg and cheese sandwich is made to order with fresh eggs. It was really delicious. Friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere, a little on the pricy side. When I went in today there was even a little waffle pop up stand in there too which was awesome.
