I knew that For the Love of Sugar made delicious vegan cakes, so it was not a difficult decision to hire them to make our wedding cake! What we didn’t expect was how beautiful the cake would be! It was absolutely stunning. Our guests loved it, too (and didn’t even realize it was vegan!).

For the Love of Sugar provided our wedding cake, along with assorted mini cookies and brownies for our wedding dessert. All was very reasonably and competitively priced. Designing the cake was smooth and simple, and we were provided great insight along the way on design, servings, and more. On the day of our wedding, we were so overwhelmed and happy with how it turned out – it was prettier than we even imagined! And last but DEFINITELY not least, their cake is DELICIOUS. It is most definitely not forgettable, bland, dry wedding cake, it is so tasty and moist. We heard nothing but positive things from all of our guests! Would most definitely recommend for your events! 🙂

Very unique interior with lots of chandelier and light. It’s bright, music was relaxing middle eastern pop folk. We took coffee and a cheesecake. Coffee could be warmer, even though we asked for “extra hot”. But service was friendly and nice.

Beautiful establishment, I was greeted with a warm welcome. I chose the chocolate cake which I feel was not real sweet, I’d suggest eating ice cream with it. I also purchased the chocolate/white chocolate cake and a raspberry chocolate ice cream. The ice cream was phenomenal a must try. For your late night cravings I’d recommend.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this place that used to be my go-to spot for ordering cakes for special occasions. Something has definitely changed because there were several issues that made it a terrible experience: 1) The service was extremely unpleasant, 2) The cake was undercooked (please refer to the attached pictures), and 3) There was unnecessary stress due to a lack of communication.

I ordered my cake for my birthday with them and I got two flavors triple berry and strawberry short cake. I got my kids to help sample just in case I didn’t like the flavors. I never had anything from them before my kids LOVED them all! I saw some reviews on how some people stated it was dry but I was asked if I would like my cake warmed up before even getting the cake as you could tell they keep the cakes cooled to keep them fresh. The texture was moist and you could tell before eating the slices! Thank you guys for the mystery shopping/review experience! The customer service was great! My son even loved it he stayed the cashier was very nice! I can’t wait to get my birthday cake when the time comes!

Wonderful vegan options, great for people with allergies. I got to try my first macaroon today, and they did not disappoint. The bakery is very beautifully decorated, with inside and outside seating, and the staff is very kind. The person who helped us was patient while we looked over everything, and offered to warm up our selections to room temperature. Just a very welcoming atmosphere, definitely give it a try!

First timer here. I tried a slice of lemon blueberry cake. The frosting was the sort that is lightly sweet and creamy like a cloud. It was divine. My teen really enjoyed the macarons. We tried cotton candy (a favorite), vanilla, ashta (rosewater + orange blossom), birthday cake, triple berry and honey lavender. The cookie butter cinnamon roll and the Matilda cake (chocolate cake w/ black chocolate cream) looked delicious too. I hope to return.
