What a fun place! You can relax, work, or meet up with friends to enjoy some coffee or cocktails depending on the time of day. Very large indoor area with plenty of space, and a large outdoor area as well. No need to worry about finding room in here. Couches, chairs, little nooks out of the way, and even a large bookstore adjoining this unique spot.
The best part, there is free public parking in the back. The sign for “private parking” is still up in the lot, but after asking inside, they confirmed that parking is free and the sign was never taken down. So if you go, ignore the sign and park all day for free in downtown Winston Salem.
The coffee and tea were outstanding. The flight my wife had on this Valentine’s Day was superb. Each little taste had unique flavors with a lot of love put in. Thank you for the great service. We will definitely be back .

You’ll walk through an alleyway that is decorated with a literary mural on both sides. You’ll find this little gem is snuggled into a nook with two entry ways. One door is to a coffee shop that had the tastiest coffee flight and exceptional customer service. The coffee shop is industrially furnished and decorated with beautiful pieces of art accompanied by relaxed lighting. The second door farther to the left is for the bookstore. This bookstore gives books a million vibes but someone took the time to list bookmarks for each section, explaining the types of books you’re looking at. They work with the community schools, as well. I’m not usually one for a “city” environment but this spot is a treasure!

What a wonderful place! Great layout for 6 feet considerations. Offering a full menu and a full bar for fantastic cocktails. The staff was friendly and the beer selection wide from the Foothills brewery next door. Stop into the bookshop to peruse a wide variety of written genres! Fun for families, date night or solo adventuring!

So glad we found this trifecta: bar, coffee shop, and bookstore (shared space with Bookmarks). Tons of seating inside in a huge space (spread out), one table with chairs outside. Several Foothills beers on tap and a full food menu (cooked at the adjacent Foothills brewery which has table service). Loved that I could do work while my family browsed the bookstore and played games. Highly recommend!

I held my sister’s bridal shower here, and frankly I could not have been more impressed. The event space is pretty enough to not need much decoration at all. The catered food was delicious and plentiful. The service was prompt and kind. The coffee and mimosas were strong in the best way possible. Jennie Hess knows exactly what she’s doing and thinks of all the small details and can see the big picture. Seriously, I wish I had another event to plan.

Cute little gem tucked away in a little alley. Nice place to come and unwind with a cup of coffee or nice cocktail, people watch or bring your laptop and work. They have an adjacent bookstore that is definitely worth checking out as well.

I’m a big fan of this rare gem. It has its own free parking. The baristas are kind without being overly friendly. They make great suggestions and off both tasty coffee and a great spirits selection. It is rarely crowded and quiet.
