Who is Footbridge Fish Co? I’m the youngest of six, born and raised right here in Boothbay. Many summer days were spent hopping aboard Sea Foam, my uncle’s lobster boat, still moored right off the footbridge. My family has deep roots in Boothbay. Over the years, the Maddocks family has helped shape the town—building the Footbridge in 1901, founding the first local bank, running a sardine cannery, and of course many fishermen. My brother, who owns the park and adjacent building, carried on the connection to the sea as a deep-sea captain off Maine and Alaska.Footbridge Fish Co. was born from this legacy. Our goal is simple: serve quality local food at a fair price and share the place we love with the people who visit.

Wholeheartedly recommend, would definitely go back. We had the clam chowder and two lobster rolls, one with butter and one with mayo. Some of the best we’ve ever had. Generous portions of lobster, seasoned really well. The fries were also phenomenal, they are cooked in beef tallow and taste SO good! The owner is very kind and friendly, so happy to give her our business!

They serve the best lobster rolls I have ever had. Very fresh lobster meats but what impressed me was how incredibly well-seasoned they were. The rolls are buttery!! You will have a beautiful view of the water while eating really delicious food. Not to mention, the owner and her family are the nicest, they brought us towels when it rained!

we had our lunch here today 7/8/25, the lady taking our order was very nice. I was looking for clam chowder, but it was not available at that time so she offered the fish chowder instead and asked me to taste it first, then I instantly loved it. My husband also enjoyed his lobster rolls and my kids with their chicken tender and fries. It made our visit worthwhile and our tummies full.

Amazing food with the friendliest staff! Don’t sleep on the homemade clam chowder or the fish and chips. Super fresh fish that is perfectly seasoned. We also got the crab roll which is pretty rare to find. Very generous portions for a great price. We’ll be back for sure!

I ordered the lobster roll and it was by far the best I’ve ever had. It is served out of a food trailer and there are picnic style tables set up nearby where they bring you the food. The owner was very friendly and came over to talk with us while we waited. Overall a 10/10 experience. Will go again.

Food truck that knows its business! Never had Poutine (crispy fries topped with cheese, lobster or spicy crab sauce, bacon and scallions) before and we wolfed it down! The fish and chips our son had, was great too!
