We almost turned to leave as we entered Footbridge. There were dead bugs in the outside foyer and a steong smell of cigarette smoke on entering—apparently from the clothes of previoys patrons. The service was warm, helpful, and friendly. The fishfry was excellent! The coleslaw was so fresh and not too sweet or creamy. The potato wedges and French fries were perfect. But the perch and cod were the best! Perfectly crispy, no fishy taste, & light! We were referred there by a fisherwoman who likes these freshest of fish. Such a good referral! Very Wisconsin. 3 TVs for good bar viewing.

We Eat here almost weekly whether dine in or pick up. The food is always delicious! Best grilled chicken sandwich around! The chicken dinner on weekends is amazing too! Can’t forget the great service and chill atmosphere. Thanks Melissa and Jeff for having such a great establishment.

First things first. This place smells awful. Secondly the bathroom was even worse lol. I’m amazed at how many good reviews have been given. Sadly i ordered food already and was starving. But considering the state of the whole place, I can just imagine the kitchen.. had fries and the fbi burger. Fries were good but burger was okay..

The smell of the carpet is the first thing you notice when you enter, it smells nauseating. This might be overlooked if the food and service were great. The bartender barely brought herself to speak to us, even when we tried to spark up conversation, and spent our entire visit with her back to us, watching a movie. My burger was pretty good but the side of mushrooms were chewy, seemed not fresh. Overall, the smell and terrible service will keep us from going back. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby where the atmosphere and service are inviting.

Will not be back. Food was good but seemed like the staff were irritated to have customers. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere. Edit- We were there around 3:30 on Saturday. The bartender that relieved our server at 4:00 was very nice so we tipped based on her hospitality.
