Robert and Sarah opened the first Foodies food truck in July of 2018 serving just gyros, sides, and drinks. With the help of our family and friends, and the support of our community, our popularity grew quickly in our first few months and we knew it was time to move to a brick and mortar restaurant. We opened the doors of our current location in March of 2019 at 2405 E Parkway Dr in Russellville AR. We are extremely happy and overwhelmed at the attention the local community has given us and the help and support we have received from our friends and family. We wouldn’t be where we are today without all the wonderful and caring people in our lives!

Foodies is Russellville’s ethnic food option. Such as it is, offering an exotic escape from barbecue, burritos or fried chicken. The area is a Mediterranean food desert. No other options for miles in any direction.

If you’re looking for really good food in Russellville, Foodies is the place. We had the gyro plate and the Greek Salad. Both were excellent. The tzatziki was delicious and the salad was fresh and perfectly balanced. Go to Foodies! You’ll be glad you did.

Okay so I’ll say this, food here is pretty excellent. Made very fresh and not as greasy as other places with similar dishes. Service was really friendly and eager to help. Decor and layout of the place could use some work. It’s not very inviting in my personal opinion. I think they probably use some help in the kitchen to speed things along. All in all though, I’ll wait on good food. Can’t really give anything less than 5 stars when the food is good.

I read the reviews and was excited to try Foodies. I was greeted by a very bubbly young lady who promptly seated me and brought me a drink. I ordered the spicy three meat gyro with chicken, steak,bacon,shredded cheese,cucumber, jalapeno,lettuce and tomato with chipotle sauce. I got dry chicken a small amount of steak couldn’t really see any bacon and none of the aforementioned toppings. Had it not been for the really sweet girls I would have given Foodies a 1 star for the food. I NEVER give 1 star reviews unless the place is overwhelming awful. As you can see by the photo there is nothing but dried up meat, no sauce, no nothing at all. Sadly I came here on here on purpose. The young lady that checked me out offered me a free appetizer I declined because I won’t be back based on on my experience today.

This was my first time visiting and I was blown away at how good the food was. I had the chicken shawarma platter and spinach dip at the suggestion of the waitress and both were flavorful & delicious. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Russellville!

I stopped in for a take out lunch today and got a cup of the Zuppa Toscana and an order of the Tyropita! It was so delicious!! The pita bread that came with my soup was the best pita bread I have ever had! The staff was all welcoming and friendly! Everything was flavorful and so fresh. Thank you, Foodies!! So glad to have diversity in Russellville, Arkansas!

We didn’t realize it was a Greek restaurant until someone recommended it. The food was very tasty and portions were good. It took us a couple turns with the waitstaff asking if we were ready to order then we had to hunt her down to place our order.

Someone told me it was a Mediterranean restaurant, sign doesn’t do it justice. Good selection on the menu, will definitely be here more! Had steak gyro with fries and traditional Gyro. Good clean atmosphere, attentive wait staff and socially distanced table. Highly recommend.
