Overall good experience and would recommend. It is a smaller place and not good for a large group. You can expect to wait 45 minutes on average for your food, so do not go if you are in a hurry. They are very upfront in telling you this. That said, the food is worth the wait. We had burgers and fries. The portions are large, so go there hungry!

This place does not look like much from outside, but THE INSIDE looks AMAZING .If you’re a simple basic person like me I definitely recommend the California burger, if you want to try something special and fun then I recommend the western burger, but if you’re not really feeling burgers then I would recommend the taco salad. Definitely one of the best restaurants.

They stopped serving breakfast at 11, and I’m so glad they did, or I would have missed the opportunity to try one of Iowa’s top ten burgers! These third pound burgers are delicious and totally worth the wait.

We absolutely loved our first time at Foodie Garage!! The fries were seriously the best fries we’ve ever had – they put a homemade ranch seasoning on them that make them so delicious and not like others! We were greeted right away and had the best service. The decor was really neat and see why they rank top 10 in burgers, there are soooo many choices and I loved my olive burger!

Short wait & great hamburger experience! The waitress was kind & the food portions were very generous. The waitress recommended the top burgers & I decided to try the Chipotle burger which had a little kick so I highly recommend the sweet potato fries with this burger. It was very flavorful! The fries had a great seasoning as well. Highly recommended! We will have to make it back for breakfast before 11am to try the pancakes!

Generous portions of tasty food, served by friendly & helpful staff. I visited twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast, and each was a good experience. We even got to see someone take on the volcano burger, which requires signing a waiver.
