Given that there are so many Mexican people in Norristown, I was expecting there to be a lot of good Mexican food here. A lot of the places around town are not great, though. Los Volcanes is easily the best I have tried, the carnitas in particular are amazing. Only place I go to for lunch!!

Delish tacos, made fresh (not like a chipotle food line). Chorizo (Mexican spiced sausage) was great. Chicken taco fresh and tender. 2 tacos and a coke for $9.

These dudes made me a breakfast burrito even though it wasn’t on their menu. I lived in SoCal for several years and finding a real good breakfast burrito is nearly impossible out here, but Los Volcanes made me one that rivals west coast. Here’s hoping their truck sticks around for a good, long time so I can get my burrito fix!
