I stopped in at Food & Friends for lunch, while on a short visit to Lewisburg. No reservation. While it took a moment to get seating, the experience was pleasant, my seating agreeable, and the food and service were excellent! I can tell that this is a well-loved establishment. The wait staff is impeccable. They never once missed a beat. A to-go container was on the table before I could set my fork down. My iced tea was refilled before the glass was half empty. I will visit again the next time I’m in the area! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you are looking for a place to eat a nice dinner, that is quiet and cozy, this is the place. Be prepared to pay $20.00 – $40.00 a plate for an entree or salad during dinner hours. The food is delicious and I would highly recommend the mushrooms as an appetizer. Oh, the bread pudding is a great way to complete your meal.

I can’t say enough good things about our visit. The staff was amazing, food was remarkable. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had fried green tomatoes to start, my friend had fried pickles both were spot on for my main course pecan encrusted chicken, my friend had a steak with baked potato and veggies, i had carrot cake to go Highly recommend !

We had delicious food but chose to get take out and eat on their outside tables without service because we were traveling with our dog. The hostess was very helpful and guided us into getting a scrumptious meal. So the service wasn’t really fully utilized and our atmosphere was streetside tables. We will do it again the next time we pass through to enjoy Food and Friends.

Service and Atmosphere is 5 star. I have ordered numerous sandwiches. Last order was a crab sandwich. The croissant bread was way overkill for the tiny flat crab. Also the Italian was in a pool of juice on my plate. Most recently I had the crab dip app as my entree. Delish. The service and Atmosphere are wonderful. I particularly love Johnny the bus boy. He is dedicated and a solid worker.
