We’d been wanting to stop every time we pass their sign on the highway, and finally did tonight. The food is great! And so are the desserts. We’ll be back, and want to tryout more of the menu.

We found this place traveling through one time and it is great! My boyfriend says their fish sandwich is the best he’s ever had. I love their gumbo and this time, I had boudin balls and they were so good! Update #2 Tonight I had shrimp and gritsnand it was good as well. We stopped again tonight and the food is still delicious. 12/1/23

Stopped in while out riding today. It was a sleepy afternoon and I ordered the Roast Beef Po Boy. Not up to New Orleans standards as it was a little light on the beef, but still tasted good. I had a side of Jambalaya and it was excellent

Visiting Fulton for work, stopped in on a gushing recommendation — it deserves all the praise it gets! The shrimp PoBoy with roumelade was flavorful and fresh, and even the bread was good. The fries are the thin ones that are perfectly crispy in the outside and soft on the inside, with actual seasoning instead of just salt. The beignets (pictured) were fluffy, airy, and piping hot, and the cold cream on the side was the perfect pairing.
Service was excellent despite only one server during the lunch hour, friendly with the obvious regulars and visitors alike.
Will definitely be back next time I’m in town to try more things!

I could not get enough of this place while on a business trip in Fulton. The Crawfish Gumbo was some of the best I’ve had. The sandwich was flavorful, but I preferred the gumbo. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks for an amazing experience.

We are headed to Quincy IL and stopped here for dinner and we weren’t disappointed. He had the catfish party boy and I had the gumbo. The catfish was cooked just right and the sandwich was dressed but not overdressed. The bread was crispy but soft inside
The gumbo was spicy and had a lot of shrimp and crawfish in it. It was great!

What a pleasant dining experience. I was in from Saint Charles visiting friends in Fulton and they took me out to eat at Fonteno’s. Quaint little place in the Brick District with superb Cajun food. Brianna our server was a doll and friendly and attentive. Food tasted right out of New Orleans and Candy the owner came out and chatted with us and she gives the place that hometown charm. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Go hungry because the portions are plenty. Enjoy. I did!!

Just moved to the area yesterday from CT and wanted something good tasting that would stick to the bones after eating road food for four days. Let me tell you, dang. I have lived down in the deep south, and have tasted plenty of “Louisiana style” food places all over the U.S. , but these folks do it right.
Went with friends for dinner, 5 adults, 4 kids, all meals, with 3 appetizers AND 2 orders of beignets and still barely broke $100. That’s hard to beat. I’m already planning to head back to try more items on the menu! Can’t wait!
