Friendly service, we had a large party and they were very accommodating to our needs. (Friends’ birthday). The majority of the sushi was really good. We had 1/5 of the rolls that we were not a fan of, but the others were pretty good.

Fontana sushi is the best sushi in Denver. Their sushi chef’s make unbelievably creative and refreshing rolls. Service is always very nice and attentive. I’ve been here many times since moving nearby and will keep coming back as long as I’m in Denver!

This place would totally get 5 stars if it wouldn’t be for the awful customer service. We waited for about 15 minutes at the front, as the front desk was empty. When we finally got a table, we waited for the waiter for about the same amount of time. The customer service is quite poor at this place. After we have finally ordered, we waited for the food for approximately 40 minutes… The service is very slow. This place is definitely not for a quick grab. Maybe it’s because we went on Christmas, but still. We were waiting for our tea for more than 40 minutes. Wait times are absolutely horrible. We came at 18:15 and we haven’t received anything until 19:13. We had to ask for everything several times. On a more positive note though, the menu has a lot of options, which is good. The sushi we tried were delicious, very fresh, had decent amount of flavor, sauces, spices, etc. The food is served well, the dishes look nice. Soups were good, but udon could use some more flavor, teriyaki salmon was pretty good, but they were out of seafood teriyaki. Weird for a Japanese spot. Overall, our experience was slightly clouded by the incompetent staff, but overall though, we enjoyed the time we spent at this spot.

It was all spectacular. The services was so patient and attentive, we are not native English speaker yet they took their time. The food came faster that the bill, it was all perfect! I recommend the seats next to the tank, its a beautiful atmosphere.

I think this place shows that you don’t have to go to a super high end place to have high quality sushi that’s unique. The sushi we got was super tasty, beautifully presented, and some of the specialty rolls they had were super unique. This was the second sushi place my partner and I went to while in Denver and it absolutely blew the other place out of the water.
