I went there twice during my visit in Pomona (and I wanted to go a third time but ran out of time). The first time I went there I literally had just driven in from Las Vegas and found this place. I had the three taco lunch special. The grilled chicken tacos along with the tacos de birria..DELICIOUS!!! The second time I went for dinner and had the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans..again DELICIOUS! Food is bomb, presentation of the food is on point and service is awesome!
Will 100% be back and I highly recommend this place!

Food good, the servers here need a little more help on managing the orders and how they go about serving the people that were already there. I went in there today, solo, ordered some tacos, about 5-10min later 4 young dudes in there 20s walked in, sat together and they got their food alot quicker than i did, didnt make sense to me, i was there first, ordered my food first and it seemed like i got put at the end of the arrival sitting time? Wasnt too happy about that… then i get my tacos, and i didnt get salsa for the tacos… i understand if the place was jammed packed, but it wasnt. Either way, wouldn’t recommend th!s location for tacos, nothing compared to their Street Post tacos! Now thats a whole different story! Still good for a quick drop by bite!

Service was great and our food was fantastic. We had a big party show up without calling first and they had space to set us up quickly. Our waitress was kind and patient with our kids ordering and was very quick to fix our mixup at the table (totally our fault). Don’t hesitate to come here for some good Mexico food and ice cold beer!

I heard about the pop up in Pomona being really good but haven’t tried. When I saw on their instagram that they had a brick and mortar closer to home, I HAD to stop by. When I arrived, we were one of the very few people in the restaurant so we were able to take our time and look through the menu and ask questions. Our waitress let us know they had a taco Tuesday special going on so we ordered tacos. The asada was so tender and juicy. The Al pastor was also very good. I really loved the real guacamole touch and charcoal char both meats had. I also had a dragonfruit agua fresca, made to order. I requested a sample of all their salsas. They can take my taco money every Tuesday. Absolute recommend!!!!

Popped into Michaels and noticed a new restaurant in the plaza. We were in the mood for Mexican and Tacos Don Cuco hit. We ordered our food to go so we weren’t waited on but our service was great. The burrito was pretty big and the tacos were loaded. Everything was so good, I am a huge fan of the orange hot sauce, I would buy it by the bucket if I could. Only complaint was there was quite a bit of grizzly beef bits, but everything was so good it wasn’t a huge turn off. We will definitly be back!

I always have a great experience at Don Cucu, and a big reason is Efy. Her customer service is outstanding—she’s friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome. The way she carries herself and her positive attitude really elevates the whole dining experience. Honestly, she makes the food taste even better because she serves it with such warmth and care.

I had the al pastor torta.
I would have liked more meat,as there was not a lot of it. But it was a tasty sandwich, served hot and fresh. The bread appeared to be grilled in butter, which made it extra tasty.
The salsa served with chips was VERY mild, I overheard someone asking for a spicy one, so it looks like it’s available.
Service was good, Jessica was very friendly.

Efy at Don Cucu is the best! She’s super friendly and always makes you feel at home. Her good vibes honestly make the food taste even better. The service she gives really takes the whole experience to another level. If you go, definitely hope Efy’s the one helping you out! I was really happy to see her during my last visit; speacially when i was told she was gone.
