This is a pretty decent brunch spot. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and as attentive as they can be with how busy it can get. They really need a better arrangement for where people should wait for a table. If it’s too cold outside then people are just going to wait inside next to the only entrance. There were also a lot of people just waiting next to our table where we ate. The table was a little small and wobbly but we didn’t mind because it fit the vibes of the place nicely. We enjoyed all of the unique art on the walls. The food was okay, the fried green tomatoes were good. The French toast was great and so was the burger. They do not skimp on portion size! Overall a pretty neat brunch spot if you’re in the area.

Friendly place for brunch. Food was tasty and uniquely prepared and our waitress, Taylor, was kind and efficient. We also enjoyed the unique art and vintage items throughout. Clean, fresh, and unique. Glad we stopped by.

Excellent food, excellent Bloody Mary, good service. One of the few places where you can get decent grits that actually taste great! One of the few places that sells whole hog sausage, also delicious. Today’s meal was short ribs and grits. I’ve been on several occasions. Also in the picture was a different dish, which was corned beef hash. Every dish i’ve eaten here has been very good and very well presented!

Food was outstanding. I had the crab cake sliders and a side of grits. It’s good. My go to dish is the fish and grits. My wife had the Salmon Eggs Benedict . It was good.

Great food and friendly service. Fun ambiance. My wife loved the biscuits and gravy. I had the corned beef and it was actual sliced corned beef. Very delicious!

Went here for a surprise going away brunch for my son and I couldn’t be happier with the turnout. The staff was super sweet and attentive. The food was delicious and were a party of 10.. so we just about had a little bit of everything. The crab cakes were slightly crispy on the edges and super light and moist in the middle. Yum! The sauce they came with, amazing! The deconstructed chicken pot pie… wow! The fried pickles, tomatoes also delicious.. I mean absolutely nothing disappointed. The overall experience was absolutely perfect! Thanks Folk Art!

Got there about 9:15 am, sat at the bar – the only customer at the bar, there were maybe 8 customers in the whole place. Service was quick, brought my coffee right away. The coffee had a good flavor but unfortunately wasn’t very hot. Food service took longer than expected given the number of customers. That said, I did ask for hash browns well done so maybe that’s why it took longer. I ordered eggs over-medium, but unfortunately they were very hard. In my 50-plus years I’d say only 75% of places get “over-medium” correct, but Waffle House gets it right every time. Just saying it can be done. Hash browns were cooked perfect but had a faint “old grease” taste. So did the toast – are they cooking it on the same grill? The online menu for my item showed 3 pieces of bacon, only got 2… but that’s ok since it tasted like it was cooked a couple days ago and reheated I figured that 2 would do. I’ve been here before, both breakfast and lunch, and it’s been better, maybe it’s just an off day.

Over hyped, service was very lackluster, and the food was mid. I ordered online and arrived in store 6 minutes after my set time.
I ordered scrambled eggs and received fried flipped/folded eggs. My eggs looked NOTHING like those fluffy eggs in the pictures.
I also ordered fried chicken with sausage gravy. For a chicken breast cutlet, I must admit they did their thing on it being tender but it was seasoned as if it was for an elderly home. The sausage gravy, deep sigh … It was just spicy. Spicy was the flavor of the gravy and the actual sausage pieces didn’t have flavor either, Just spicy . Spicy is NOT a flavor people
I ordered a side of fried shrimp it was $13+ for 6 pc of lightly flavored, soggy, in grease shrimp.
Long story short… I would not recommend and will not be back.
The hostess at the front door was lack luster.

After a long morning of traveling from CT, we found Folk Art for brunch and decided to stop in. Though it was an hour wait, the food was totally worth it! Their pigs in a blanket were a great appetizer, and we were both happy with some of their specials – the catfish and grits and the short rib and grits. The short rib was so tender and better than I’ve had at a lot of restaurants, and the tomato shrimp sauce that the catfish and grits was served with was very well seasoned and delicious! Loved the aesthetic in here and would definitely return.
