Went to Fody’s for dinner on a Monday night. Downstairs was closed for a private event. We went up to the bar. You seat yourself. Waitress who seemed like she was also tending bar came over promptly. She was friendly and took our drink orders. Sangria was very good. It was made well, not just wine with a piece of fruit.
Chicken tenders with sweet chili were delicious, we wish there were more. Cheese pizza cooked perfectly with good cheese but sauce needed a bit more flavor. Overall a decent pie. Nashua hot chicken sandwich was tasty only critique is to use a grilled bun instead of bread. It needed a bit more bulky bread to hold it together.
Prices are decent. Place is older but clean. It was comfortable and welcoming. We will be back to try other dishes.

The food is always decent but the main reason to come in is to get martinis made by Emma. 10/10 always and she can take any idea you think of and turn it into the greatest drink you’ve ever had. Never had one I wasn’t impressed with. I always make sure I’m there for Martini Mondays with her!

At Fody’s Tavern, a delightful place to dine,
We met our waiter Matt, with eyes so fine.
And Dan, the marvelous drink-making man,
Whose concoctions amazed our entire clan.
With smiles and care, they tended to all,
A big crowd of twenty-one, having a ball.
Blueberry lemon drop martini, a perfect ten,
Sugar rim absent, yet it shone, even then.
Regular lemon drop, another delightful sip,
Dan’s creations earned a unanimous tip.
No complaints arose, only praise to give,
As his drinks amazed and made us live.
Now, onto the food, a mixed tale to tell,
Canadian Poutine, a slight cheese curd spell.
Banhmi pizza, too saucy and bold,
Though excessive, the flavors unfold.
The onion soup, alas, brought no cheer,
Served barely lukewarm, a huge disappointment clear.
But fear not, for there were culinary wins,
Grilled cheese, loved by kids, earning perfect tens.
Crispy raviolis, a crunchy sensation,
While blackened shrimp pasta faced frustration.
Delayed and forgotten, a sorry affair,
The dripping to-go bag, leaving me in despair.
Burgers held their ground, a tasty affair,
Smash burger, picky rating with utmost care.
Cowboy and Tavern Burgers, they played their role,
Accompanied by fries, satisfying as a whole.
Overall, the food had its highs and lows,
Inconsistency challenged the culinary flows.
But the drinks, oh, the drinks, simply divine,
And Matt and Dan’s service, truly sublime.
We’ve been here before, and the food was better then,
Perhaps it was an off night, so we’ll return and judge again.
Fody’s Tavern, we grant you another chance,
Hoping for consistency and a flavorsome dance.

Every we had was amazing. We ordered crispy brussle sprouts and Canadian Poutine, which were both delicious. Poutine had the perfect balance of gravy and cheese. Fries were hand cut fries that were slightly crispy and soft at the same time. Just the way we like it. The kids ordered grilled cheese with fries, nothing really special, chicken fingers and fries, and a Nashville chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken fingers were cooked to perfection. They were moist and the perfect crisp to the outside with the perfect amount of flavor. The chicken sandwich was good based on my son’s opinion but needed more sauce. My husband ordered a mixed berry salad with pan seared tuna. Tuna was cooked perfectly with a sesame coating. It wrnt very well with the salad that contained raspberry and blueberries, candied pecan, goat cheese on a bed of arugula spring mix. I ordered the Char grilled center cut with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. My steak was cooked just the way I like it at medium rare. Garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and a perfect balance of buttery and garlic flavor. Asparagus cooked well with some char and still nice and tender. Overall, my family really enjoyed our meal. The waitress was very nice, friendly, and patient when my kids individually placed their orders. The atmosphere was relaxing and homey, though the temperature was on the chilly side for me. This was the first time we visited this place and will not be our last. I loved that we were able to find another gem that was so close to home.

This place is Awesomeness!
Pepperoni pizza cooked perfectly zero flop. Nice and crispy. Poutine fries hit the spot followed by a corona and pretzels. Server was fast and had a great personality. What a great Vibe!
Good food, good people, great time at fodys tavern. Highly recommended

Very easy location to find, plenty of parking. Very nice and homey inside, we sat at a booth by the fireplace. Was not crowded, our server was very pleasant and attentive. Our booth was next to a nice little bar set up for patrons. The menu, I did not take a picture of, was set up with a select number of choices. Some menus have too many choices, I tend to like smaller menus. I would not call it a family restaurant, the main clientele were professional adults, although my twelve year old was with us. Mainly due to the limited selection and prices. There are decks to eat outside at, it was raining we didn’t get to. Upstairs we heard music, I think a band, and there is a bar and more decks we didn’t get to enjoy, because the kid came with us (:))! Anyway the food was good, I added pictures, and the server was great. Well come again!

I went to Fody’s Tavern after passing by them one day and loving the way the place looked. I searched their menu online, and the food looked super fancy and delicious! However, when I got there, the menu the waiter handed me was completely different than the online menu, and he said the two are vastly different. So, slightly disappointed, I ordered the Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburger, which was super dry and tasted and looked like it had zero sauce on it. The onion rings weren’t bad though! Just be aware the online menu isn’t what is offered at the Tavern.

Loved this place! Food was delicious and those drinks though. I ordered buffalo cauliflower, pomegranate martini, and broccoli grilled chicken penne pasta. My daughter LOVED the app and she ordered chicken parmesan and the honey fig jam martini. Everything was fresh and tasty. I love the sliced carrots and oinion in the cauliflower…it really made the dish! The drinks, if I didn’t have to drive definitely would have ordered more.

It was a hot evening. People were on the deck. They were short of servers so our service was initially very slow as we were the only people inside. A former server who was visiting kindly stepped in to help. Nachos were plentiful and very good. Main courses average. The beer requested was not available. The numerous TV screens are horrible…far too many. So a mixed review.

We went on St. Patrick’s Day 2019 for the Public soft opening. Our experience was superb. The food, service and ambiance we’re exactly what we expected out of a new location from an established restauranteur. We enjoyed the Mussels appetizer, the chopped salad with red wine vinaigrette, and the the Corned Beef Reuben.
All of the selections we’re above expectation, however the Reuben was a standout. Large chunks of Corned Beef with homemade sauerkraut.
Our server seemed skilled and experienced, she was attentive and informed. My lady friend is eating keto and our waitress was quick to educate herself on the questions we asked and return to us to answer.
The bartenders appear skilled and their pour was generous and well balanced.
Though this was a soft opening with a limited tasting menu and and an over abundance of staff, we are optimistic that the full menu, along with the large dining room and expansive outdoor tavern dining will also impress.
