We stopped by this evening and were not disappointed. The food we tried was all delicious and fresh. The dishes the wife ate were good as well as the ones I hade; which is unusual.
There was also a selection of sushi which I cannot remark on since neither of us enjoy it. But it all looked nice and others around us talked highly of it.

Worse experience I have ever had eating out. The staff was rude from the moment we walked in, then seated us in a back room in front of a busted out window that had tarps on the floor. The buffet food was disgusting. Everything liquid had been watered down even the A1 sauce, which I had to taste because I thought it was Worcestershire sauce. I don’t know how anyone has not gotten sick from eating here I complained to my waitress and she told me I had to talk to the owner at the front when I spoke to him and told him we didn’t eat. He told me we wasted food by getting the plates and I still had to pay full price. He started screaming and his face turned red Scared my kids, and was not capable of having a calm adult conversation DO NOT EAT HERE $140 wasted and had to go get my kids McDonald’s when we left

We’ve been coming here for years but after our last visit we won’t be coming here anymore. The food is great and they do offer the best selection of food as far as Chinese buffets go but there is this one waitress that waits on us at times and when we are paying at the counter she will stand and watch as I write how much of a tip I leave. This is very rude and tacky. And from seeing other reviews I’m not the only one she does this too. The old man in the front(owner) knows she does this and allows it. I have never been to a place where the waitress stands there to see how much of a tip you leave. Well here is my last tip: if you come here and you get waited on by the older Asian waitress either ask to be seated somewhere else or leave because she is rude and disrespectful. And I know she talks shit about customers to the other waitresses too cause you can see her smerking and staring.

The workers here are absolutely awful. We used to love eating her but the last two times have been a horrible experience. Last time the workers were screaming in the kitchen were everyone could hear the whole time we were eating. This time the server was so rude and then got mad when we didn’t leave the tip she liked so she started talking about us to the other serves. No one wants to be stood over while writing the tip. I don’t think I’ll be back. Really need different staff or a big change!!!

The establishment is nice and newer tables since the last time we were here. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. The waitress was sweet and nice. The ceiling and ceiling vents could use a cleaning. Overall this restaurant appears to have some major improvements since my last visit. The food was fresh also. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because towards the end of our meal there were flies around our table.

It looks like maybe they have new furniture since it became the flying wok. The tables look nice and the waitress was very nice. I would rate everything as much more improved. The reason im giving 3 stars is because towards the end of the meal there were flies flying around our table, other than that I would say great job on the improvement. The hot food was hot and the sushi was very cold. The food was mostly fresh also.
The ceiling and ceiling vents could def use a good cleaning or even replaced. I quit going to buffets for a long time because of prior experiences I’ve had especially with the establishment on the pineville side, but I will say I was pretty impressed with the food temperatures at the flying wok and if I happen to get another buffet craving the flying wok is where I will go.

This is my favorite Chinese place in Alexandria! The food is good, I’ve never had bad service, sushi and hot and sour soup are made from scratch, and the price is right, too. I’m in here every chance I get.

wonderful place , i love coming here with my mom, we are met with a smile every-time. Excellent service, everyone is super kind, the Boss man at the door is always accommodating and nice. I love the atmosphere it’s extremely comforting coming from a person who suffers from extreme social anxiety. And most importantly the food is absolutely delicious with extreme freshness and high quality. the coconut/walnut shrimp is so good my absolute favourite.
