Loved this quaint taco spot! The food was seriously delicious and the ambience was perfect with the dark-lit vibes. I ordered the empanada appetizer and couldn’t get enough of the meat filling. The Junkyard tacos were also absolutely amazing—me and my friend loveddd the combinations in it. Great spot after a beach day!

We had a great experience at this Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially loved the Peruvian rice bowl — an unbelievable explosion of flavors in every bite. There are also several taco options, and you can’t go wrong with the steak tacos. We’ll definitely be coming back next summer!

We had a wonderful dinner at the Flying Iguana in Neptune Beach. The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We ordered the Peruvian beef rice bowl, the Junk Yard taco, the blackened shrimp taco, and a beef taco—each one was delicious and perfectly prepared.
The wait staff was superb—friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. The atmosphere inside was relaxed and inviting, and while there were TVs showing sports, they weren’t overwhelming or distracting from the dining experience.
We chose to eat indoors, but the outdoor seating looked lovely as well. This is a great spot for flavorful food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Honestly, this was a pretty good experience overall. Chips and salsa were a good way to kick it off but also it was $3.50 for the order. We also ordered the queso dip which was excellent.
On to the meal, we ordered the Steak Bowl which was a bit too spicy for my preference (8 out of 10 spicy level). The other was the chicken bowl was in my opinion much better than the steak bowl.
Our server was really cool and the restaurant looked clean. Will be making a return visit!

Looking for a great margarita with some great tacos? This is the place!!! Took my wife for a valentines day lunch the day before(cuz we like less people) and it was great. The handmade guac at your table to order hits the spot and taste just as good as we make at home. Its got a great beach vibe with the open side and the coastal breeze coming through. We have tried a few taco places and always have a margarita with them and this is by far the best we have had in JAX area so far. The tacos and the margaritas!!! Look forward to our next visit!!!

Good Mexican style restaurant, guacamole was fresh, tacos are great. I am a bit confused with the cheese dip comes with four tortillas reather than chips, not sure if I’m missing something. Margaritas are delicious. It does get extremely busy so get there early for dinner. Reccomend using the valet parking behind the restaurant, get the ticket stamped by the waiter and parking is free.

Great family environment, great food and I absolutely suggest trying their brussel sprouts, oh to die for!!! Splendid experience, also recommended is the guacamole, they prepare it as you are seated at your table . Oh it’s another 5 star experience, and the staff, friendly and since I’ve been there, they do not get your order confused. Greatest bar/restaurant, service and food anywhere on the beach from Atlantic Beach to Palm Beach, can’t beat it. I don’t think five stars is enough. I think 20 stars will do just fine!
