Great location in downtown Bentonville, if it’s your first vist grab a menu and a table then go up to the counter and order. We stopped by for a Sunday lunch. I had catfish and the wife had redfish both delicious and the sides we had okra and potato halves were great and generous portions.

I give the Flying Fish 5 stars for the fried catfish. I wasn’t impressed with the crawfish, but it’s not typically my go-to unless I’m in Louisiana. And as nice as Bentonville is to visit, it’s no NOLA. Set your expectations accordingly to an inland seafood spot. My son and I shared the tilapia caddo, crawfish, gator queso, and fried catfish. Be prepared to order before you sit but the line moves quickly. Overall great location (not far from free parking), great service, and great food!

Looked at the menu prices are already ridiculous. I ordered the gator bites from the appetizers after taxes and everything. It was almost $30 for DoorDash really wanted it ordered it finally arrived at my house almost an hour later and this is what I got for almost $30.

We hadn’t been here in probably a good 8 mths we had catfish tacos like always. This time there was noticeably huge difference from the last time. The catfish fillet was a dink as big around as my pinky. Before you would get a nice fillet that took up room in taco shell. They had way more of the fillings then ever I guess to make up difference. This was my wife’s favorite place to eat in this area of nw ark. Don’t know if we’ll try catfish tacos again maybe something else. The Calamari was chewy couldn’t eat. Took it home n cooked im our Air frier then it was decent. I really hate giving reviews like this but the truth is the truth. We were very saddened by the changes. Price was still great. We’ll be back to try maybe something else someday

Gumbo was delicious as well as the atmosphere. My catfish was lacking in flesh though. Maybe it’s just a fluke. Would definitely go back for the other numerous specialties they have.

We came to town to look at art and decided to stop to get something to eat. This place was a breath of fresh air in the midst of the downtown shopping area. Food and atmosphere were wonderfully comforting. People who waited on us were oh so friendly. Thank you for your hospitality. And in case you are wondering, most of that burger made it home for dinner later and it was a delicious.

Such a great spot! From the atmosphere to the food, Flying Fish checked all of the boxes. The atmosphere is classic and cozy with a variety of different touches which make you feel like you’re dining lakeside where the fish are being caught. The Fried Catfish basket was a delicious there are plenty condiments to choose from for layering in an additional flavor. The catfish had a flavorful breading that was fried to perfection and the fish itself remained moist! Would highly recommend stopping by this place!

I felt like I was at an ocean side seafood restaurant. So many seafood choices and so many fish mounted on the wall! Fish caught and brought in by customers! Fried this and fried that. Grilled and Broiled options thankfully. I ordered 6 cooked cold shrimp, delicious! Delivered on a platter of ice, lemons, the shrimp large! Plenty of free street parking, nearby free public parking lot. Kid friendly. Plenty of seating. Counter type service to order.
