Stopped in after a visit with my Aunt. She suggested it and said I would not be disappointed. Well, let me tell you she did not lie! This is probably one of the best burgers I think I’ve ever had in my life! Great food great service great price!!!

Retro 60s aesthetic, Great food, and fashionable uniforms…Truly a mix of success! This is a diamond in the rough…my family has been urging me to try this place since i got here. I came in, the Employees were nice and helpful- and even helped me as i compared several item menus, and even helped me find the best option for me! 6pc catfish by the way, you wont be sorry! It was hot and fresh- paired with the Romulade and the Fresh onion is a match made in heaven. Im not a seafood fan but this has definitely got me rethinking my ways….10/10 would recommend

Welp this wasn’t my first time. I think they make a quality product and very good version of what they do. Burgers, fish , charbroiled chicken breast, seafood great fries but the fries weren’t great this visit. I didn’t complain because we didn’t have time but I hope you get fresh fries cause they are good hand cut fries and to throughly enjoy them they need to be fresh. They were soft tonight, nothing like when they’re fresh. The hamburger steak was good but I’d give em 3 outta 5 stars cause they weren’t exactly fresh either. I guess I came in at the wrong time this night; nothing like the previous lunch times visit.

On this visit, I ordered the grilled chicken breast, new potatoes, 2 hushpuppies and grilled squash & zucchini. My husband ordered the grilled chicken breast salad. Both entrees were delicious. The chicken breast can be ordered spicy or regular. Salad comes with 2 hushpuppies, tomatoes, cranberries, cucumber slices, croutons and the salad dressing of your choice. All of the salad items were fresh! My entree came out hot and as ordered along with 3 new potatoes. They have cinnamon rolls, hamburgers, chicken or shrimp tacos with several sides to chose from. You need to try this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed!

Great place has and old dinner vibe. Large selection. Of course Burgers, But they have Chicken, Cat Fish, Salmon. Shrimp, a white fish like Flounder. surprisingly they even offer Crab Legs! Their fries are cut fresh with skins. You get plenty of them and everything is cooked fresh and come hot. You can go wrong here.

We were staying at the hotel across the street, in town from Southern Louisiana for business. We are big on reviews and decided to look over reviews on Google rather than our usual, we were optimistic about trying this restaurant. Definitely disappointed.
The young lady behind the counter seemed so friendly to the lady in front of us, so we were quite surprised that her pleasant disposition very visibly disappeared when we stepped forward. I have my speculations on what she may have not liked just looking at us, but I’ll leave that out of this review.
Our food was fresh, I can say that, but that’s about it. The fried catfish still had the fishy ‘belly’, since there was apparently no seasoning in the fry that was the only thing you could taste; and I actually have a low salt threshold compared to many southerners. The shrimp also had zero flavor. My husband was glad he asked that his grilled catfish be made spicy because, while it looked great, the flavor it had was barely there. He did say the greens were fine, would probably have asked for rice if there was a next time.
The next evening we decided to just stop in and try some of the cinnamon rolls we read about in a few reviews, final disappointment and the trigger to this review. Ours definitely didn’t look like the reviews we saw and smelled like they were warmed straight out of a package. Sadly they also tasted as processed as they smelled. Hopefully others received something other than we did. Because of where they are situated they do not have to worry about customers, and it shows in their lack of… a lot.

I was in town to visit family and got invited to the flying burger for lunch. My husband and I were so excited to try this place. The service was fine and the burgers were amazing. So great that we drove 38 minutes back to Magnolia two days later to try something different on the menu. It was a nice drive and we had pretty high hopes for our second visit, unfortunately they did not deliver.
We came back for a “poor boy” and it missed the mark, big time. I wish the shrimp could’ve been fried like shrimp and tasted more like shrimp. It was fried in what tasted like fish fry, it even looked like fish and I only had about 4 on the whole sandwich.
The wings were great, and I don’t think you can really mess up a salad, the po-boy however was disappointing. The burger and fries from our first visit saved this review. I think the menu is a little too extensive, maybe focusing on one cuisine is better that trying to specialize in everything.
Whenever I’m back in the area and have a taste for a great burger, I’ll be back. From my experience the fries can be hit or miss. Great one day and not two days later. I hope to catch them on a good day next time I’m in Arkansas.

This is the first time I got the grilled salmon and I was very satisfied with it. It was cooked perfectly and it tasted great! I will definitely be getting this again. The wait time was very reasonable and the staff that I dealt with were nice!
You can’t go wrong with anything you choose to eat. They truly care about the quality of their food.

It was okay. The fried shrimp was covered in cornmeal based batter. I got zucchini and squash for a side… for $14 plus tax. Disappointed.
