Unfortunately dissapointed. Owner very nice. Tried multiple things. Maybe im spoiled from making homemade desserts my entire life and family doing the same. There were four of us who tried things and none of us will go back. The desserts were good but not to our liking. None of us liked the frosting on the frosted cookies or brownies. The frosting had a weird buttery flavor but not like the frosting i make at home which everyone likes. The peanut butter cheescake tasted like a mouse and not a cheesecake, which i was not expecting. The cream puff was not very sweet and boring, the whipped topping was bland and not very sweet. The only thing i enjoyed was the chocolate chip cookies. They were very good but tasted like the nestle recipe i make at home. Im sure this bakery is awesome to most but i was not wowed by the taste and everything was expensive.

This bakery is an absolute gem! You can truly taste the love and care put into every item by the owner Lisa and her team! Everything is always fresh and flavorful!! from the baked goods to the little details that make each visit special. The quality is consistent, the atmosphere is welcoming (such a cozy spot), and the staff is incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do. If you’re looking for authentic, homemade treats that feel comforting and special, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend it!! you won’t be disappointed!

Not sure if I’m just unlucky, the pastries I bought tasted like old stale pastries. Specially the croissant. The crust is not flaky at all, and the inside is not soft nor moist like a true croissant should be. The 50cents croissant from Costco tasted 1000x better.

My husband and I were recently in the area to pick up some furniture and we popped into this little delight of a bakery for a quick coffee and snack. The quality of bakes we found in this cute little bake shop easily surpasses what we found in bakeries all over the world (we eat a lot of pastries). They made the best cinnamon roll I have ever had in my life and their fresh baked bagels are better than anything I ever found in New York City. This bakery alone is worth traveling to Phelps for. We can’t recommend them enough!

Awesome little bakery/coffee spot! I was in town for the Sauerkraut Festival and they had amazing sauerkraut food specials. The frozen smoothies and coffees looked delicious also! The baked goods were amazing and SO reasonably priced. Small and cozy with a limited area to hang around, but a nice place to grab-and-go!

Absolutely charming bakery with phenomenal pastries and artisan sourdough breads and bagels! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly, treating every customer like family. We grabbed a box of assorted treats, and every single one was a delight—fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Everything is crafted right on-site, which you can taste in every bite, from their perfectly brewed, rich coffee to their beautifully created sourdough breads and pastries. Don’t miss their fresh-baked cinnamon rolls, dripping with perfectly sweet icing. We will definitely be back!
