Mr. No Tengo Dinero
First time visiting Flower Child, and I came in excited to try something new from their plant-based menu. My wife ordered one dish while I chose a few different items, including the roasted Brussels sprouts, cauliflower risotto, and the kung pao cauliflower with tofu protein. Everything arrived beautifully presented and full of color, which already set a great first impression.
The restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe with a warm interior that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. Flavor-wise, the food was solid and satisfying, and we genuinely enjoyed having so many vegetable-forward options for lunch. The cauliflower dishes stood out with good texture and seasoning, and nothing felt overly heavy.
Prices were reasonable for the quality and ingredients, though the portion sizes were on the smaller side. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a nice spot for a light, plant-based meal in a relaxed setting for casual daytime dining.

Had a great experience at Flower Child in The Domain, Austin! The place has a fresh, vibrant vibe and feels perfect for a healthy, flavorful meal. I tried the Chicken Noodles, Chicken Salad with Sweet Potato Fries, and the Black Bean Wrap — all three dishes were amazing. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared.

The service was quick and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. It’s one of those places where you walk in, feel good, and leave feeling even better after the meal.

If you’re looking for delicious, wholesome food with great service and a nice vibe, Flower Child is definitely worth visiting.

A first visit that feels like pure perfection sets the bar high, and mine absolutely did. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was warm, and I walked out thinking I’d found a new favorite spot.
Visit number two… well, it had a little plot twist. I ordered the French Dip, and let’s just say it and I did not become friends. The beef had an off taste, and the arugula had taken on a surprisingly chewy personality—possibly from the heat of the steak, possibly from sheer stubbornness. My friend agreed something wasn’t quite right.
The bright side? Management handled it beautifully. They were gracious, quick to make it right, refunded the meal, and even offered to bring something else out. I didn’t have time to stay, but their response alone earned them another chance.
It’s still a lovely spot with plenty of healthy, appealing options—I’m chalking this one up to an off day and planning a return visit.

Flower Child has been a pleasant surprise and now my almost daily place (usually 5-6x per week).

Jeremy the GM noticed my daily order and introduced himself and made me feel valued and appreciated.

The food is fresh, tasty, and healthy 🙂
I feel better since I’ve been eating here over the past 6 weeks and counting.

The place is clean and lively!
The staff are all super sweet, attentive and detail oriented.

Only good vibes, taste, and attention here.

I’m thankful that it’s affordable for me so that’s a plus and feels wonderful to have a place I can call myself a regular.

Thanks Jeremy and team for taking such great care of me as I’m super grateful for all of you 🙂

I love the chicken bowl. I loved the chopped salad, but definitely changing the dressing next time!
I’d get the queso again, without extra chips.

Food is a bit expensive but it’s tasty. I had the beef, potatoes, and macaroni. We came late on the evening and it was pretty empty. I would eat here again.

Very different and interesting place, quality ingredients, quick service and cost effective options.

Ask questions about the menu. I ordered a dish with sweet potato noodles. I assumed they were the sweet potato glass noodles. They are not. They are shredded and lightly cooked (like still crunchy) sweet potato strings. Literally 4 snap peas in the whole dish. This is a bowl of shredded sweet potato’s with sauce. For the record—the sauce is tasty.
Thai curry soup is very good.
$7.95 extra for salmon.
Tea is delicious.
Might give them a try again but will never again assume dish ingredients.
