It’s a tavern…. That said the food was clean, hot and well portioned. The service was about as good as you can get at a tavern.
I had the hamburger with fries and a salad. The patty was premade. My wife had the fish tacos. They come on 2 corn tortillas each x 2. Filled up the tortillas plenty. Moist but could be more flavorful.
She had a side of fries and my burger came with fries as well. Crispy outside hot and soft inside. I ordered a dinner salad. It came with a lot of cheese on top.
The other reviewers mentioned pizza, there were no pizzas on the menu here.
We both had the Good Life Pale Ale, crisp, cold and refreshing.

Adventurous Spencers
We had a great experience at Flounder Inn Bar in Waldport, Oregon! Our meal of steamer clams and fried mozzarella was a delicious combination, and my wife’s Baumans Loganberry Cider and ginormous Margherita shot and my Dr. Pepper were excellent beverage choices.
The food and drinks were not only enjoyable but also satisfying. The atmosphere at Flounder Inn Bar has contributed to our positive experience, we would love to come back next time we pass through the area.

Went in today for breakfast the menu says hand breaded chicken fried steak but when I saw the cook coming from the back store room, he was carrying a Cisco or US foods frozen product made in a factory. It makes me question what other stuff do they serve that is coming from a freezer premade I immediately walked out.

Excellent service! Seriously the best service I’ve had in a restaurant in years. The server gave us menus before we sat down (we were being slow), was very friendly, and got us drinks with lighting speed. The food was good. Pub fare, as expected. We had salads, steamer clams, mozz sticks. All delicious. Friendly spot. Highly recommend.
