Delicious hidden gem. The food was very good and tasty. The service was awesome and friendly and very welcoming. The ambiance is so cool and fun and live. We enjoyed our time here and plan to come back for karaoke night.

I love the fish tacos so much, that I get a a Taco Flight every time I go. I also tried a Carne Asada taco and Shrimp enchilada.

Food was tasteful, live music was nice, but one thing that bugged me was that for a soda, you only get 1 refill and both cups that I had were so full of ice that I barely had any actual beverage in it to drink, I also don’t recall the menu saying that it only included 1 free refill. For the amount you are paying for meals and anything else here, I don’t see why the soft drinks would be the place to be stingy.

This spot offers excellent service and delicious food. The complimentary chips and salsa were so good we had to ask for more. The menu has plenty of options, including breakfast items (minus pancakes), with an average plate costing $21. While most dishes are worth it, the quesatacos were tiny and not great value. Overall, a great place for bold flavors and a welcoming atmosphere—just skip the quesatacos if you’re hungry.

Really clean place. Hidden gem!
Nice bar and restaurant. Really cool atmosphere with the Mexican Day of Dead Theme. Great food, a little pricey but you do get a good decent amount of food. I really like the guacamole here! I ordered the frajitas

While running errands, I started to get hungry and had a craving for asada fries. Yum! I decided to stop by Flores Cafe, a small Mexican restaurant in Carson with plenty of free parking—a definite plus for me. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted and placed a to-go order for asada fries.

They didn’t take long to prepare, and they came out fresh and hot. The fries were good, though I’ve had better. I couldn’t help but wonder if they would’ve tasted even better if I’d eaten them right away at the restaurant. Maybe!

If you’re in the area, this is a good place to try. We usually always get an order of the Al pastor fries and the torre buchona. Cant go wrong with either of those two. I think they’ve updated and IMPROVED their dishes. We’ve been a few times, and this last one in June the quality improved a lot.

The torre buchona was fresh and spicy, the portion of it is good to split with another person. The way it’s plated gets a little messy since it’s a small plate but honestly doesn’t really affect the dish as a whole. I do wish they gave more tostadas tho because it only comes with two. We usually just ask for more chips and salsa before it comes out that way we use them for the ceviche.

The asada fries we get with Al pastor are really good too. The green sauce they put on top is 10/10.

We’ve also had a molcajete as well. Definitely a good dish if you want to share with someone. Everything comes out nice and hot.

Service is good as well, each waiter/waitress we’ve had has always been friendly and they’re pretty fast too.

Depending on the night you go they may have live music so it can tend to get a little loud. We have gone on a Friday night and in the middle of the week, and we prefer to go in the middle of the week when it’s quiet enough to still be able to hear the person you’re with. But if you enjoy live music, then this is a place to come check out on the weekends.

They’re doing some expanding so there’s some construction atm and the art they have on the walls and ceilings is pretty cool. Good place to go with friends.

I got together with my sisters and brother to grab a bite to eat; settling on a new food spot in Carson called Flores Cafe. Authentic Mexican food at great prices. I opted for a michelada alongside my chille Verde and I was in good heaven. The staff was friendly and explained how some of the meals were made. Murals adorn the walls while some of the most popular tunes play over the speakers. Great place to go whether on a date or in a group looking for great food.

The new owners really fixed the place up. Looks cool inside. The food was actually really good. The amount of food the Molcajete came with is very generous. I recommend checking this place out.
