At first glance, Florería Atlántico looks like a charming flower shop, where guests can pick up a bouquet along with bottles of wine, and Argentinian pastries. But unlike any ordinary florist, this shop stays open until 2 AM. Step through the back “fridge” door, and you’ll discover a hidden cocktail bar downstairs — the DC outpost of the celebrated Buenos Aires original, consistently ranked among the World’s 50 Best Bars.

Later in the evening a DJ came on and added to the vibes.
The service was great, thank you Carlos! The bartenders were very friendly and did a great job of answering all of our questions. They gave us good drink recommendations which we really appreciated.
Overall Floreria Atlantico has great vibes and great drinks. I will definitely add this to the list of cool places to kick it for a good time and good vibe. However the place next door is more of my vibe with an open flame

The food was solid. We ordered the wings, king crab empanadas, fries and the lomo completo. The standout items were the fries and the drinks. The cocktails are on the pricier side but are worth it. For desert we tried the chocotorta and we were a bit underwhelmed. We ordered it because we saw a beautiful version of it online, but what we got was smaller and looked totally different. It still tasted fine but we were disappointed that it wasn’t what we expected.
Overall Floreria Atlantico has great vibes and great drinks. I will definitely add this to the list of cool places to kick it for a good time and good vibe. I would be open to trying other items on the menu and I will definitely come back for the drinks.
The cocktails boast unusual combinations, all with a botanical flourish.
The Chai Carrot Cake, one of the Fall local offerings, was refreshing, sweet, with a spiced aftertaste. The Negroni Balestrini is a smoky, herbal twist on the classic. Frankly, every single cocktail on the menu sounds like a good time.
I had a very alarming experience at Florería this evening. I have a nut allergy, and I was served the classic Negroni Balestrini, which I had already taken a few sips of before realizing it contained pine nuts—an ingredient not listed anywhere on the menu (see attached photo). The bar was so dark it was impossible to see the drink, and when I asked a server, his dismissive response was, “If you see pine nuts in there, then it has pine nuts in there,” as if it were my fault for not somehow “seeing” them despite the menu not listing nuts at all. This is absolutely unacceptable—menus should clearly state all ingredients, especially allergens, and staff should respond with care and professionalism, not attitude. On top of that, the other cocktail we ordered tasted like it had no alcohol in it. Completely avoidable and incredibly disappointing; we will not be returning.
