This is by far one of the best tasting Mexican experiences I’ve had in my life. The food explodes in your mouth with flavor. And my wife really really loves every single by so much, so does he ask if we can get to much more. The meal was topped off with the Cerveza And two ice pops Mexican style. If you’re looking for just a great taste of Mexican food, this is the place to come to.

Florencia restaurant located inside the carnicería is a Griffin hidden gem. The location may throw you off considering it’s located across the street from another Mexican restaurant. I will be honest parking sucks but there is ample parking along the side of the building (3). Inside is very clean and staff is friendly. The service and food came out fresh and pretty quickly (5). My sister-in-law ordered the birria tacos con una Pepsi , wife ordered Huarache de asada with a agua de Jamaica, and I ordered the torta de lengua with a frosty 32oz Modelo. The food was very flavorful and left the palette doing a happy dance (5). Great food for the money Total cost $$ (5) I would recommend this place to ANYONE wanting real authentic Mexican food at a price that will not leave your wallet crying until your next payday. We are definitely coming back

Similar to my favorite restaurant in Ensanada, if you’ve been craving actual Mexican food – either to eat in or to cook at home – this is the answer to your prayers. Priced like a hole in the wall with authentic quality that is hard to find this side of the border.

This hidden jewel is clearly a fav with the local Hispanic community, and most of the staff is fluently bilingual. The restaurant menu is in both English and Spanish.

The whole property is highly accessible for the disabled, and they have a gender neutral family bathroom.

Way too expensive for mediocre food. Only thing they got going is the birria tacos, everything else is mid. The tortillas on the tacos be dried, tacos over priced, the burritos smh they use more rice and beans to stuff it, so barely any meat in them.

Was craving one of those burritos that’s the size of a tennis ball can, but all the decent Mexican joints open at 11am and I’m hangry at 10. This joint’s open at 9 and a 4 minute drive from the hotel, so I go inside and there’s a bunch of tables and a big menu on the wall of all the usual items: tacos, burritos, sopes, nachos, etc. Pick your protein (barbacoa, al pastor, chorizo, lengua, etc) and you’re good to go. Ordered the beef barbacoa and five minutes later, I’m handed a styrofoam box that weighs at least 2lbs. This burrito is CHONKY: they slice it in half to make squeezing a lime or pouring sauce in it easier. It put up quite a struggle, but I could only finish half. Shredded sauced beef with refried beans, seasoned rice, avocado, sour cream, cheese. If you eat a whole one of these and are still hungry, you probably have a tapeworm. Around $11 but like I said, you could split this meal with someone or eat the rest when you’re drunk at 2am.

I’ve been eating here twice a week for the last year. I order the same thing every time with the rare ‘I wanna try something new’ occurrence. Everything they serve tastes like it was made at home. It’s not a 5star restaurant, it’s not fine dining, it’s more like going to your parents’ place for dinner. You collect your food and find a table to eat. You won’t be constantly bothered by a waitress looking for a tip. You’re not getting refills(idk, you might). You’re enjoying your food by yourself, or with friends, and then leaving. It’s a very cozy place, and I love it.

Taco ’bout take my money and give me more!!!

TACO TUESDAYS ARE HALF PRICE!!!

There are absolutely NO bad options with the tacos here. Campechano, barbacoa, pastor, chorizo, lengua, etc: they’re all DELICIOUS!
This trip I got two tacos, a campechano (I think that’s how you spell it ) and a pastor along with a Coke. Perfect lunch!

BEST AUTHENTIC Savory Mexican food. I’m from Texas and this place nails it with their tacos and my most favorite flautas . It’s always worth the drive. Prices are great because it’s about quality. Must try!

It was edible and alright… Their version of al pastor wasn’t for me. The pineapple had a really weak flavor aside from the sauce and the texture was unusual. I’m not saying they use canned pineapple. It might be fresh, idk, but it was reminiscent of pineapple that isn’t very fresh.
The carne asada was great but the tortillas are a little bit too thick and chewy to double up for classic street style tacos for my taste. Sadly it overpowers the flavor of the meat.

I wouldn’t say I’d never eat it again but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I usually go here for my chicharons or my quesobirria taco fix. But the one time I went to actually shop into the meat department of the store and I asked a question, he told me, “no habla inglés” so he couldn’t help me. If you go here to shop, bring a friend who speaks Spanish to help. The meat at the counter looked so good, but because of the language barrier, I couldn’t buy anything. Anyway, back to the tacos!!!
