I don’t often crave pizza, but Flora D’Italia is the real deal. I’m not even vegetarian, but their Funghi pizza is absolutely divine. And don’t sleep on the linguini verde—it’s everything you could want from a pesto seafood pasta. Truly chef’s kiss. On top of that, the vibe is great—they’re located in the always-fun Chattahoochee Food Works. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city to eat and drink.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Flora d’italia and I was blown away. Let’s first talk about how clean this location was. Everything was spic and span despite the busy lunch rush. Chef Steven’s entire team’s attention to detail and each customer was impeccable. Their Manager Nick led the charge busting out each order seemingly with east. The 4 man team worked as a unit and you can tell they had great chemistry and loved what they do. So much so that the food tasted like nothing but love and care went into it. Steven took the time to educate my wife and I on the process of how each of our meals were prepared. You can tell by my his Michelin background that he takes great pride and care in what he does. I was vegetarian for 5 years and wanted to try out their vegetarian options. We were blown away. We had the Eggplant Parmesan and the Funghi pizza. They were absolutely delicious. We even convinced two young ladies to order the funghi pizza after seeing our reaction. I really enjoyed my time at this place and cant wait for my next visit.

Pretty good chicken parm. The spaghetti noodle was bit undercooked which is the way I like it. The portion could be a bit larger for the price.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! The food is always amazing. The chefs really care for what they do and you can tell just by their faces and attention to detail. I tried the special today, the Tomato Heirloom Salad and WOW just wow. All the flavors of the mozzarella, basil and balsamic over the tomato and edible flowers meld perfectly together for a light lunch. This restaurant in The Works never disappoints!

Recently the pizza has had a very bad burnt bitter taste that’s impossible to shake off. It’s like eating charcoal. I’ve had my share of brick/wood oven pizza so I do expect some level of burnt aftertaste but this was very bitter. It’s coming only from the bottom of the pizza. It’s unfortunate because it looked really good.

Looking for high quality, authentic Italian food? Flora D’Italia needs to be on your list of new spots to try! Hand made pasta, fresh brick oven pizza with the perfect crust…there is something for everyone. Ask Chef Steven about the cold-fermentation process of his dough. It’s a step above!

Take my word you have to check this place out! These pasta dishes were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The wood fire pizza was cooked to perfection and crispy just how I like it.

Chef took my order and was very helpful in narrowing down my decision. The gnocchi was not light, but not too heavy. Just perfect to satisfy a craving. Highly recommend, can’t wait to be back to try the other dishes.

I got this to go and ate it at home, but I should’ve just ate it immediately because it was SO GOOD! Absolutely delicious. This is one of the best pasta spots I’ve had in Atlanta and would certainly recommend anyone wanting some carbs to grab some grub from here!

Every time I visit, I have a great experience. The eggplant Parmesan sandwich is my favorite. It’s absolutely delicious. I visit the works often and this is always my first choice. I haven’t had anything from here that is short of amazing. 10/10!
