This place is super cool and trendy. I appreciated the customer service that I received. It’s clean. The food taste fresh. No heartburn after the late night pizza slice. Not the average pizza. Now I have a new favorite pizza establishment. Thank you so much Erica for providing me with excellent customer service. Thanks for your sense of humor thanks for your welcoming mannerisms and your professionalism. You are rare and very appreciated. See you soon. Go flip in pizza.

I’ve been here multiple times and always get a slice of pepperoni. After living in New York for 5 years many years ago, I always look for a NY slice here in California.
This is my favorite go to spoit for that. The crust, cheese, and pepperoni work perfectly. Slightly crispy on the bottom, slightly charred on top and just the right amount of grease, just like in New York! I tried their garlic knots and they were fluffy and crispy and the chunky marinara went great to dip them in!
Erica is amazing! She is always friendly and I admire her ability to deal with the teenagers that come in here after school. She is more than patient in my observations. She always takes great care of me and I look forward to seeing her when I come in for a slice.

I was astounded by how small the pizza’s were. They were about the width of sunglasses and were $15 for pepperoni and $19 for the jalapeño and pineapple. I must have ordered the Big Bill, Little Pizza combo.
The pizza’s overall look good but seemed undercooked. Flavor was okay but I couldn’t get past the doughy crust. Maybe they would be better if they were double baked? I’ll never know.
The actual pizzeria and dining area was very nice and clean and they had several beers on tap.

It felt surprisingly fun and energizing when I visited Flippin’ Pizza in Long Beach with someone, because the whole place had this lively, youthful atmosphere that immediately reminded me of the kind of environment teenagers naturally gravitate toward. The moment I walked inside, I noticed how many teenagers were already there hanging out, laughing, and enjoying their slices, and it made the whole restaurant feel even more upbeat and welcoming in a way that made me feel comfortable right away. The pizza itself had that classic, foldable New York style that’s easy to enjoy without feeling rushed, and I appreciated how simple it was to relax, take my time, and just enjoy the moment without any pressure. I didn’t expect the place to feel as fun as it did, but the combination of the bright interior, the casual seating, and the groups of teenagers having a good time made it feel almost like a social spot rather than just a restaurant. I only visited Flippin’ Pizza one time in my life before making this review, but I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed being there and how naturally the environment matched the kind of youthful energy that I connect with. I lived for 24 years, but I’m not physically or mentally 24 years old, and ever since the summertime in the year 2024 when I learned that I’m still physically and mentally 18 years old with a prefrontal cortex that’s more developed than average 25‑year‑olds’ prefrontal cortex in the human brain, I’ve noticed that places with this kind of playful, relaxed vibe feel especially right for me. Flippin’ Pizza gave me that same sense of ease and creativity that I look for in places that teenagers would enjoy, and I would highly recommend that teenagers go there because it gives them a fun, casual spot to hang out, eat good pizza, and enjoy themselves in a space that feels lively, friendly, and perfect for their age group.

One of the best thin crust pizzas in town. If you happened to be in the Long beach area, make sure to grab your self a slice.
Super friendly staff and very convenient location. In addition, the music wallpaper decorations it’s very eye catching and cool to admire.
Highly recommend the Whitestone/Pepperoni
And the Garlic knots are a must. Also, Freshly baked chocolate chip cookie are available if you are feeling brave. 😉
Don’t forget to grab your self spicy honey!!!

The pizza is great and the food is good but I have it 4-Stars due to wait time and correctness of the order. We have been coming here ever since they opened but one thing they need to work on is speediness/wait times of orders. On a good day and time, it is 30-45 minutes. On a Friday night around 5:30pm it’s about 1.5-2 hour wait time. Plus the pricing is high so waiting on an expensive pizza when competitors are faster and cheaper could be a problem. I don’t think it’s the workers fault. They usually only have like 5 total workers so trying to keep up with demand may be a problem. Hopefully they can lower the wait times so we can order from them more often.

Flippin’ Pizza is delicious! We got it delivered to our hotel and it was best pizza to have for a night in with wine. We got half classic cheese and the other half with ricotta, pesto chicken and pineapple which was fantastic. Delivery driver was so nice and the food got delivered early. Definitely recommend for pizza in LB.

I am so bummed. We paid over $40 for 2 small pizzas and cinnamon knots, and my wife couldn’t even eat her pizza. We called in the order from our hotel 7 minutes away. She ordered a white pizza with spinach. The girl who put the order in added sausage to the slip instead of pizza. My wife was so excited and we couldn’t do anything about it.
On here, it says they’re open until 9 PM. on a Saturday. It is now 8:41 PM, and I tried to call 5 times. No one answered the phone. We literally just threw $20 away. I am really disappointed for my wife.

We got the bronx pie. It was supposed to have kalamata olives and portobello mushroom. As you can see from the pictures, it did not. It tastes fine but we are pretty disappointed because it wasn’t a cheap pizza.
