I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience.
Pros:
The location was easy to find, and the facility was clean. The music helped set a decent tone inside the restaurant. My catfish was fried fresh and came in a nice-sized portion.
Cons:
Parking is very limited. The lighting outside the building is horrible — it’s completely pitch black on the sides of the building which could pose a safety risk.
When I walked in, the cashier did not speak or offer a warm, welcoming attitude. It honestly felt like I was bothering her when I placed my order, which made me feel like leaving a tip wasn’t worth it.
Hospitality is everything, and customers never forget a first impression or how they were made to feel. Unfortunately, the staff’s vibe was not friendly at all.
Another issue: Google lists the closing time as 8 PM, but the doors were locked at 7 PM. That’s misleading and inconvenient.
I spent $36 for a 3-piece catfish dinner with two sides, hush puppies and a drink. In my opinion, the food is overpriced & the side portions are extremely small.
The fish was good, but I’ve had better at A&J’s catfish station in Memphis & Soulful Chick located in olive branch Mississippi.
The potato salad was just okay — pretty mediocre.
The spaghetti was extremely greasy, and some of the worst that I’ve had. The grease over powered the flavor.
The Hush puppies tasted like they came out of the frozen food section at Walmart. They have absolutely no taste.
After eating the food my stomach is now bothering me. I’m not sure if It was the grease from the spaghetti or the potato salad but I felt great before I patronized this business.
I’m extremely disappointed.
It was not worth the visit.
I will not be returning.

Cant recommend enough. First time here. My husband and I went and had catfish, wings, fried green tomatoes, fries, hush puppies, spaghetti. It was all cooked fresh. Served faster than expected. Less than 10 mins. Our server. Reciept says Stephanie S. Was phenomenal and was taking care of the whole restaurant, phone orders, to go pick ups, door dash orders and still checked on everyone multiple times. She was amazing. The catfish. I don’t even know what to say. I guess I’ve never even really had catfish until today. It was so perfectly crisp and breaded and moist. It was seasoned so well I didn’t even need the hot sauce. Just a dip of their in house tartar sauce that was amazing. Everything else was just as hot and delicious and amazing. And their Drake’s flavored lemonades. I had to buy 3 to go. Place was absolutely amazing. Will be back regularly for catfish. And trying a pork chop next time. Can’t wait until I’m off on a Sunday to try the chicken and dressing.

I like to thank Ms. Allison for being so kind and patient with my son and I. We had the tenders ,Catfish and the Honey heat wings. I must say everything was perfect. Especially the catfish. It was crispy,fresh and fluffy. The best catfish I have had in a long time. I will return for sure.

This was my first visit. I ordered the catfish (not whole, fillet) and honey gold wings (no sides). Ate the catfish fillet and it was possibly the best catfish fillet I’ve ever eaten. Seasoned to perfection but not over seasoned. I had mines fried hard and it was not over cooked but perfect. You also have an option to havw it fried crispy. They have a kiosk that you can use and pay with a card, which I did and it had color photos of the food options. They were playing nice Christmas music and the employee that I had interaction with was polite to me and all the customers. I used the kiosk and she made sure I was good. Haven’t eaten the wings yet, but will definitely be going back for more fish and to try other items.

First I’m a southern boy; Second I’ve eaten many fried seafood joints; Third, this is THE BEST place I’ve ever eaten. We ordered the Catfish, Chicken and Shrimp and the PORTIONS are out of control, the freshness is on point and this is by far the best place I’ve eaten ANYWHERE!!! I’m telling you the Catfish and Shrimp….WHOOOWHEEEEEEE and those Chicken Wings…MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm.
From the outside we were like hmmmmmm and then after we were like HMMMMMMMMMMMM. Even had Frog Legs…that taste like Chicken…GWAHAHAHAHA. Hope they bring back the Buffalo fish. And also the hostess was sweet and helped with our orders!!!

Lunch fish & shrimp was Great! You need patience since they cook as ordered but worth it. I thought the fish sandwich would have trimmings but still cooked very well.

I have visited Flights Fish on 3 occasions.The first two visits the catfish steaks were really good along with the sides. The third visit was truly disappointing The catfish steaks were not “crispy” as requested and the slaw was awful. I’m going to give them another try and hopefully the food will be better.

I don’t normally make a review and I have been going down to this place for a while and the food is pretty good but today I went 08/19/2025 and the food was horrible and the person answered the phone attitude was horrible… French fries were not done and I asked for my fish to be fried crispy and it was not … it was not good and it was not hot … so it will be awhile for I return to this place because food to expensive to be just given any kind of way and not good …

Tried this place out for the first time from a recommended source. The fish and wings and shrimp were great. Hot fried and crispy but not dried out. However the fries were trash. Limp luke warm, and soft. Total opposite to the wonderfully fried main dishes. So don’t get fries here. Also all drinks aside from the bar are cans. No fountain drinks, no free refills. For my family that is a huge turn off especially when we are paying almost $20 per person including our kids.

I’ve visited flights a total of four times. I’ve been disappointed maybe once and that’s because they were out of a lot of items on the menu. This place is a gem. Good food and good drinks. Customer service is also great. I’ve had the fish, burger, fried okra, green beans and spaghetti. Everything was really good with the exception of the spaghetti. I’ve tried it twice and it was not good. I won’t order that again but they have a lot of great tasting items on the menu.
