OMG!! I was in love with this place the minute I got out of the Jeep!! I’m really big into old stuff with nostalgia. From the Coke painted on the side to the entrance!! From the awesome old Hamilton Beach malt mixer to the old display case. Anyway..the chocolate was phenomenal give this place a try. This is a must go to spot now for me.

This place is a gem of the Midwest! The classic diner experience is truly felt here. The service was amazing and the food was just as fabulous! Pricing was reasonable. There are so many things on the menu that I have yet to try, but I’m definitely going back to Flesor’s again soon! One of my favorite parts was the book wall where the owner allows patrons to take as many books home as they please! Such a great venue.

Got off interstate to get gas, saw sign. Very glad we took the extra distance of a couple miles to stop. Great ice cream and homemade chocolate candies. Very friendly and helpful. Wish it was open later or we were early to eat lunch

A gem! It’s a charming spot with great food and service. We had breakfast and the portions were large and filling – we were full for the rest of the day! The owner, Devon, was very friendly and stopped by our table and explained the history of the restaurant with her family. The restaurant also has an entire room lined with free books for customers to take. We definitely plan to come back when we visit the area!

My family and I (family of 4; Husband, myself and 18yr old twins) came through Tuscola heading home from the Farm Progress Show. We were wanting a quick treat so we followed the signs to Flesors. I have several friends and coworkers from the area who have highly recommended Flesors, I have enjoyed the candies at work and social events so I am no stranger to the quality of food. Place is cute, a little confusing if you’re only wanting ice cream as you have to actually be seated to order (unlike conventional ice cream shops), but no biggie. The minute we walked in the door the STARES from what I imagine to be the locals/regulars were like nothing I have ever experienced. I immediately saw people physically turning in their booths/tables to look at my family. And it’s not just a quick glance. It is full-on continuous stares, like daggers piercing through us. I started to wonder if between the time I got out of my car and seated at a table, if I had sprouted a set of horns given the looks we were getting. As the extreme staring continued, I finally nicely smiled and said “hello” hoping I could enjoy my ice cream, but no. The lady acted almost shocked that I caught her looking at me, didn’t say a word, then went back to whispering and gawking at us like a side show. She even went as far as to not stare directly at us, but at us through the little mirror that was at our booth! We got our ice cream, went to pay and the two who apparently enjoyed looking at us so much were up whispering to the cashier/candy lady and wouldn’t even have enough decency to give us room to get to the register. When we were finally able to pay I felt like we were now being interrogated by the FBI. . “Who are you”, “where are you from”, “what brings you here”.

Very Friendly staff, feels like you are at grandma’s house. The food was quality along with handmade ice cream and soda. Dont forget the specialty chocolates without a specialty pricetag compared to other places. 1lb of chocolate costs $24.95. Very affordable. Just a couple minutes away from the interstate!

We stopped for lunch in Tuscola on a road trip. This place is in downtown Tuscola, a bit off I-57. I had the soup and sandwich with a grilled ham and cheese and french onion soup. My wife had a BLT (if you follow my posts, you get a theme with my wife’s choice of lunch on the road). The food was really solid. However, the bonus for this place is the candy. There is an amazing little candy shop in the restaurant and it has a wide variety of chocolate truffles like rum, espresso, raspberry and many, many more flavors. They also have a nice assortment of brittles like peanut and cashew. Grab a meal and take dessert home for later! Almost forgot to mention that it also has a soda fountain with many flavors. My wife got a cherry soda and raved about it.
