Drive north on Highway One from Cabo San Lucas and you’ll come across a little stretch of white sand known as Playa Costa Azul, a.k.a. Blue Coast Beach. Here, where the Pacific meets the Gulf of California, people from all over gather to eat Baja’s famous fish tacos, listen to the rhythms of Mexico and surf some of the best waves in the world!
At Blue Coast, we try to bring as much of that experience as we possibly can. We can’t bring the sun and the surf, but we do our best to bring you the freshest, finest West Coast-style Mexican food available. We’re talking about build-your-own burritos, fish tacos, fresh-made salads and much more. Shortcuts are not part of our vocabulary…we do it the right way, every day.

If you like Nachos, stay away from this place. They are terrible. Got flour chicken tacos, they turned soggy and cold fast. Any Tex Mex place in the world is going to be much better than the cold slop this place is serving.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years and never had a bad experience. So some of the extreme negative reviews on here are baffling, but any place can have a challenge day. And another positive experience for this location are the empathetic and apologetic responses they have delivered to negative reviews. I’ve had to give negative reviews to certain retailers that couldn’t care less and some with a little over 2 stars that can’t afford negative reviews. Blue Coast Smyrna clearly cares about the experience they deliver.

I ordered a burrito bowl with chips using Door Dash. I used to love Blue Coast. Today was the worst. The chips were burned and the chicken in my burrito bowl was gross. I am not sure real chicken. Won’t order again.

Me and my wife hadn’t eaten at this Blue Coast in years so we thought we’d try it again recently. My wife is a vegetarian and ordered a veggie salad. What she got was a salad with chicken added, even though the order receipt clearly shows it as a veggie salad (even highlighted with a marker by BCB staff). I ordered a burrito and it was the nastiest burrito I’ve ever had. Well, we won’t ever be going back to this place. I tried to contact BCB ownership, but all I heard was crickets. If you’re planning to eat there, I hope you have better luck then we did!

This is our 1st visit and my husband and I are extremely disappointed! Asked for curbside when ordering online and no one came out so I had to go in. Our food clearly had been sitting there a while and was cold. We ordered a bowl, 3 chicken tacos, and a chicken quesadilla. His tacos and quesadilla had not one piece of chicken in it! Complete waste of $30!!!

I usually love this place when I’ve visited. I recently placed an Uber eats order for a steak quesadilla with the works and to my surprise I revived a burned quesadilla! Talk about TRASH. I’m beyond upset with this place for even allowing themselves to send this to someone. I attempted to call and got no answer. Sooo here I am telling the whole world of google and review readers how horrible my delivery experience was. #BlueCoastBurritoGaveMeTheBlues!
