Been coming here off and on for about 9 years, it’s had at least 3-4 names in those 9 years. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it not the best but it’s close and convenient. Ordered take out tonight, 2 curries, a pad Thai and a chicken satay. Cost $80, paid cash and tipped well. Got home and the curries had probably 2-3 oz of chicken, the tiniest shredded amount. The photo below is literally how much chicken was in the curry – The rest was onions and potatoes, no peppers, nothing else! I called the restaurant just to let them know, not expecting anything in return but just a hey this happened, don’t know if you have a new chef, just FYI….. Their response was, “we haven’t raised our prices in 10 years, so we just reduce portions, prices are too high, the chef doesn’t put a lot of chicken” I was completely shocked – my 15 month old ate all the chicken from this curry and wanted more. One curry usually feeds my three small boys with some left over! Also- the chicken in the green curry was dyed green, never seen this before, fake food dyes and god knows what else! Total joke and just really gross…. won’t be coming here anymore! Taste of Thai off university is awesome for anyone else looking for great Thai, just a bit farther away.

I have to give my experience a 2, but I should note my standards for good Thai cuisine is very high.
The waitress was not attentive, no chopsticks and I couldn’t find her to ask for them. I needed a second drink and I had to shout out my request while she was eating at the end of the bar. Just a bad, ultra low end service experience.
Crispy rolls were fine, nothing exciting and the sauce rather flat with flavor
I asked for Thai hot on my salad and entre. My worst, absolute biggest Thai pet peeve, is for a Thai cook to dump a pile of red chili flakes onto my meal. Which is what I received. Really? Fresh chili’s please – Cooked into my entre or pounded into the papaya salad. The papaya salad was very very small. Made to look bigger on a pile of spinach. Maybe 5 bites of papaya. 4 small shrimp. Flavors were ok, nothing exciting but not terrible. But yeah a pile of chili flakes.
The fish was nice and crispy, but also small. The curry was average, nothing unique or inspiring and of course the pile of chili flakes which were not even that hot. Why pile them on my meal if they are sitting on the counter stale grocery store red pepper flakes?
For flavor I could give it 3 stars, but the care, presentation, service, attention to detail – all fell below average. I cannot recommend this place

Delicious foods and amazing service. Our waitress was absolutely friendly. Sapporo Beer was tasty. If you’re around the area it’s a must go to place.

The place looks really outdated and not in an antique way. The menus were kinda dirty and my company said the lemonade tasted funny. As we waited on out appetizers I was looking around at other people’s food and it didn’t look very pleasing so we ordered the roti which wasn’t bad. I love the location and outdoor seating was a plus! And our server was nice as well.

Had a great experience at this Thai place. Ordered the pho (noodle soup) which was terrific! A little bit spicy, but not too much, and that’s coming from me who’s generally not very good with spice. The waitress was really helpful and attentive. My party also ordered the pad thai which was also great!

It is a great place for any occasion! The service is good and the food delicious. I took a lime margaritas, the Roti Canai, the Summer Rolls, and the Golden Tofu. Everything was absolutely tasty and it cost me a total of 25$. Absolutely worth the try!

This place is so slow. If you have an hour for lunch it’s still not enough time. It took them 40 minutes to get my order served and I didn’t have time to finish eating before I had to leave. The food wasn’t worth the wait. Definitely the slowest service I have ever experienced.

Came in feeling like a 3 out of 10 but they opened early to feed me a beautiful fresh tasty hot bowl of love. Great place..beautiful aesthetics and area and you dont get such great service over anymore….i will be back..and back again..try red curry now spice if you like to clear the sinuses lol..but seriously im addicted!
