The food was really good! I wasn’t a huge fan of the plating and the cabbage was a bit harder than I was expecting. Other than that, the Chana Masala was …

Super friendly staff and decent selection. I ordered the chicken makhni (aka butter chicken) today (8/28/25). Probably the most bland Indian dish I’ve ever had! Also…$21 for a lunch portion with no drink or sides?? Way too expensive for what it is.

I always love Indian food! This spot was no exception, though the curry was a little bit watery. The naan also wasn’t the greatest naan I’ve had. It was a decent spice level. For the food you get, it was a little pricey. I got a chicken curry with rice, naan and drink plus tip for $25, but the serving was small and I ate everything pretty quickly. But North Market can be tough to maintain business, so it’s always good to support local!!

There are so many wonderful choices at North Market. I’m glad I picked Flavors of India for dinner. I had the three entree vegetarian plate with rice. The palak paneer was very nice. Creamy, fresh tasting, with nice paneer, although the ratio of spinach to cheese is not super high. Yoghurt curry was nicely spiced, with satisfying chunks of potatoes. korma was tangy, smooth, spicy, and creamy all at the same time. Portions were very generous, and cost was reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. Note-the food is spicy, but may be too mild for some tastes. This may not satisfy some Indian food connoisseurs but for a food court offering in downtown Columbus, this is well worth it.

We had Lamb Soup, greens, rice, samosas, ginger lemonade tea, and mango smoothie. This was so good. We will definitely be back in the future.

Fast service and I love channa masala. You can choose one vegetable with rice, two vegetable with rice, three vegetable with rice, five vegetable with rice, sides, samosa platter and a lot of other items on menu. Ask for naan that has varied options.

This is the most bland and watery indian food ive ever had. Ive made more flavorful indian food for a lot cheaper. 25 dollars for a small portion size and no sides. Save your money.

Well, if you’re downtown and you can’t get away to go further north in Central Ohio or Columbus area to really go to an Indian restaurant, this is okay. Place very quick. You do get all the flavors. You can see it right there in front of you. Staff seems to be okay. Happy to serve you. It is a fast place so just take your time. Ask the taste. If you will they’ll give you a sample. At least they did for me and keep it moving. Just remember parking here right now is horrible. Once they fix the parking lot and garage or whatever they’re going to do, it’ll be a lot better

Food was delicious (glad I didn’t read the critical reviews before I ate there). Service was friendly, helpful, and patient. Do not have their own seating but is part of the hall. I didn’t try the drinks (though I was tempted).

Was nervous to try this stand seeing the bad reviews. But the lady who took my order was the most welcoming of any other vendor when I was browsing North Market. Ordered the Palak Paneer and Garlic Naan. The garlic naan as other reviews said is most like garlic pita bread but it was still good! The palak paneer was incredible and they fill the container up with it! If you’re craving palak paneer and happen to be in north market swing by this stand!

By far, the worst Indian food I have ever had. I took a few bites and just decided to get something else. I would never go back there or recommend it to anyone else!
