Had an early dinner for two on a quiet rainy Wednesday night and we were not disappointed. Ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo (both medium on the mild/medium/hot scale) as well as garlic and plain naan. All the food was delicious! The tikka masala was smooth and creamy and the vindaloo had bold but not overwhelming flavors. Naan was cooked just right and did its job mopping up extra sauce. Server was super attentive and helpful with our questions, always there to refill our waters when we got low and created a generally friendly and welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for Indian food in downtown Cincinnati, definitely give this place a try!

What a wonderful place. The service is extraordinary. Seriously, charming, warm, knowledgeable. The food is excellent. We ordered more than we needed to try as much as possible. The nan, curry, saag, and Conkani are great. The chicken curry was especially noteworthy. It’s substantial, flavorful, and more interesting than any other that we have had. We are eager to return to try more.

This new* restaurant is my favorite for Indian food downtown. They also have a good selection of imported spirits. Great service and atmosphere.
I got the Mango meat entree with chicken plus naan and loved it. They use a 1-10 spice level and my 6 was perfect for me.
The couple who run the place were very nice and informative regarding the dishes and drinks. I sat at the bar and the other customers were also friendly.
*Opened Fall 2025 one block from Fountain Square and the Aronoff Center.

This is the most authentic indian food you will find in cincinnati. Their food is great to-go, but it deserves to be eaten in the restaurant. They offer a fine dining experience, but eating at the bar is my favorite. This would be Bourdain’s favorite place if he came to downtown cincy today.

High end beautiful Indian ambience with exceptional flavor profiles. Pictures don’t do the food justice. By the time you think of taking pictures to celebrate the food; it’s almost half gone.

We came in from out of town and wanted some Indian food and this place did not disappoint! The food was amazing! The wait staff was so friendly and warm. The mangotini was delicious! We are spice lovers and went with the medium and it was a great level of spice. We were able to enjoy all of the flavors, without our mouths being on fire and the riata was perfect too cool us down. The naans were delicious. We highly recommend the samosa appetizer. It was a perfect starter for a delicious dish!

The food was extremely disappointing and not worth the price. It was overly spicy, and the biryani tasted more like tomato rice than authentic biryani. Being a popular and much-loved dish among Indians, it was the first time we couldn’t even finish a quarter portion and had to throw it away. We visited with friends, but the owner did not accommodate us to sit together and mentioned an additional service charge for tables with more than five people when we asked. The owner seemed more focused on welcoming American and other international customers rather than Indians. However, one female staff member stood out—she was very welcoming, service-oriented, and provided excellent service.

Simply the best Indian food in the United States. Period. I consider myself a connoisseur of curry. As much as any American can be. I’ve had almost all the Indian food in Cincy. I’ve been to Indian Weddings. I’ve had Indian in New York. LA. Portland. And countless places in between. Let me tell you: THIS PLACE!!! Flavors and Spices brings flavors and recipes that you can’t find anywhere else. Do yourself a flavor and try everything on their menu. Don’t go only once. You must try it all to understand. Your bar for Indian food will forever be raised. Thank me later. Actually don’t thank me, just leave them a fat tip like I did.

HIGHLY recommend this place! I placed a to-go order and got to the restaurant early so I waited at the bar. The two people working were so nice. I ended up getting a drink while I waited and it was delicious, Mangotini. Their restaurant was very nice, a good combination of fancy interiors but also cozy and comfortable. I got Paneer Tikka and it was delicious but quite spicy so be warned! I got a medium spice level. I have also had their chicken tikka masala before and it was delicious. I will definitely be going back.

I visited Flavors n Spices on my first night in Cincinnati and was not disappointed. Lamb saag and garlic naan were delicious and flavorful, and the mango lassi was a sweet treat. The owners were kind and welcoming and I would definitely visit this restaurant again!
