We dined here awhile ago. Upon entry there was no wait. It was a bit of wait to get acknowledged by a waiter. Finally the food was mediocre, seating a bit small. Overall customer service experience wasn’t up to out usual date night experience of exceptional, complimentary and pleasant. Undecided if we will ever patronize again.

I was referred to Flavio by a friend and honestly they did not disappoint. The fettuccine alfredo was the best i ever had. Had bruschettas for appetizer and it was amazing as well. Recommending it to all my friends, definitely my new fav spot in DC

The food was magnificent! The food was delicately prepared, with such flavorful ingredients! Personally I thought the food was amazing even the dessert was perfect!! The only thing is the atmosphere… such nice decorations, but the music was very loud, wouldn’t recommend for a date. You could barely hear each others conversations, but the food made up for it. Overall I would definitely recommend!!

Flavio: Georgetown’s Cozy Italian Gem with Standout Seafood Pasta
Tucked away on a Georgetown side street, Flavio occupies a charming old building blending industrial and rustic decor. The spacious interior and outdoor seating offer plenty of room.
Service was attentive, perfectly complementing the delicious food. We started with fresh bread served alongside a flavorful pesto olive oil dip – a simple but excellent beginning.
The star of the show was the Lobster Diavolo for two. This Chef’s Choice Pasta lived up to its reputation, featuring tender lobster meat, shrimp, and scallops bathed in a rich, perfectly spiced tomato cream sauce. The portion was big but there were only two pieces of lobsters.

We will definitely return to sample more dishes from Flavio’s menu.

My wife and I visited Flavio restaurant in Georgetown. I am so glad that we did. They have great outside seating which allowed us to enjoy the evening. Our server Leila was outstanding. She made great recommendations and her service and attention to us was excellent.
We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and Mekki’s pizza. Everything was delicious. We look forward to dining here again when in Georgetown and we highly recommend Flavio and ask for Leila.

Such a gem in Georgetown! Amazing service, delicious food, and the kindest staff. Mekki, the owner, went above and beyond — truly made our night. Highly recommend Flavio and can’t wait to return!

Had the lobster diavolo (pasted with lobster and other seafood) and tiramisu. I didn’t take pictures because the food looked/smelled very inviting and we just dig right in.
The portion of the lobster pasta is huge, one plate is enough for 2 people, or even 3. And it tastes great! Generous amount of seafood, goes really well with buttery spicy tomato sauce. (It’s not really spicy, but you can taste the chili.)
Their tiramisu is also great, I would come back just for it. It’s moist, not too sweet, flavors are well combined. You can really taste both the chocolate and the coffee without the typical bitter flavor. I was already very satisfied with the pasta, but the tiramisu elevated the meal to another level!

Truly, one of the worst dining experiences I have had in washington, d c. I ordered the salmon which was not very fresh.Came with instant mashed potatoes for $33usd. Once the waiter had our order, he forgot all about us even though there were only three other couples in a huge empty dining room. The bathroom, it’s in s sub basement, and had water coming up out of the floor and it smelled, like raw sewer down there. With so many amazing places to go, please avoid this one.

Great place for a quick dinner. We started with the complimentary flat bread and basil olive oil dip then moved on to the calamari appetizer.
Our main courses were the veal scalloping customized with marinara sauce. I enjoyed the sauce it was sweet and reminds me of Sicily. Our second main was the chicken piccata. The white wine caper sauce was flavorful and briny.
The staff was friendly and our food arrived promptly. I would recommend this place and will visit it again on my next stay in DC.
