I visited this spot based on positive reviews, and the food lived up to the hype. I tried the oxtails with rice and peas, paired with steamed vegetables, though unfortunately, there were no plantains available. I also sampled the fried chicken with white rice and oxtail gravy. Both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The local pineapple and ginger juice was a refreshing highlight and complemented the meal beautifully. While the oxtail was on the pricier side at $20 per plate, the quality made it worthwhile. Overall, I’d recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Disappointing experience at Flavas. I called at 2:58 PM to order the lunch special, but was told it was no longer available. The special didn’t end until 3:00 PM, but the staff insisted it was ‘currently over.’ Despite my clarification on the time, they refused to honor the menu. Poor customer service and inflexibility. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit. Not recommended.

OMG, I’m from New York and I’ve been living out here for the past six years looking for a restaurant that can authentically authenticate the West Indian food like Brooklyn does and I found it here their food is perfectly cooked.
