Just driving through and decided to stop based on some great reviews and we couldn’t of been happier! We had the bbq and jerk wings and the fried chicken and everything was beyond good and the sides were all great also including the dirty rice, fries, slaw, and potato salad but the Mac n cheese stood out as the top choice! We aren’t local but will be back anytime we are up this way! Support this place…you will not be sorry and the owners are very friendly and personable! Highly recommended!

Me and hubby ate here (well technically ordered carry out) last Tuesday and it was amazing. One thing I’m big on is customer service and this place really exceeded my expectations. Actually it is one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had and I’m a tough one to please. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. We were given free samples without asking. The man was very patient as we took a little while to decide what we wanted to order. All around great food and great experience. While we waited for our food I judged the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place, it passed in my book. We plan on making it one of our regular places for sure.

When I say the food is so authentic & CHEAP! The taste makes you feel like you’re in Jamaica. Jerk chicken 10/10 BBQ chicken 10/10 rice amazing and very side because I had to try & CORNBREAD 100000! Ran by a Very very kind family. A husband who encourages his beautiful wife.

I have eaten here twice so far and the food is amazing and fresh each time. They even go a step further with their customer service to let you know that your food is ready. The ribs are not too tough it literally falls right off the bone! The Mac and cheese is a great go to and very delicious. This place gets a 5 star rating from me. If you live in the Bartow area or surrounding area check this place out you won’t be disappointed at all.

This is genuinely my new favorite spot. I’ve been here 3 times since moving to bartow. The atmosphere is very comfy and familiar and the service is quick and wonderful. I went there yesterday and brought my friend who had never been and she texted me that the food was awesome. I give this place 10 stars fr. The food is very good and they give you a LOT for an affordable price The ribs and Mac n cheese are a definite MUST TRY

Ordered their jerk wing dinner with cheese fries and macaroni and cheese. It was amazing! Chicken was seasoned perfectly, the macaroni was cheesy and home made, even the cheese fries were better than any average fast food chain. This also came with corn bread, the best I’ve had.
For dessert I had their chocolate cake. It wasn’t too sweet where you couldn’t eat it. It was perfectly sweetened! The cake itself was very moist, light and chocolatey. The icing was a perfect amount to compliment the cake and not be over bearing. Together it was smooth, sweet and moist.
The service was quick and friendly. They gave me an item for free and I genuinely felt welcomed and honored for choosing them.

First time I’ve been to Flava Joint. I have passed it several times but never noticed it. It looks like a “whole in the wall” in restaurant terms, but it’s a “whole flava” restaurant.
James “Seven” is a friendly owner and dared you to try any of his dishes. I was craving fried chicken and it did not disappoint. I also got a few ribs to try and they were well seasoned and falling off the bone.
I will be back. I think I found my neighborhood hangout!

My husband found this place, We ordering fried chicken with two sides. While we waiting outside, the owner was super nice & gave us BBQ chicken wing. Oh my goodness! It’s was soooo good & the BBQ sauce was homemade. I’m seriously looking forward to dinner. The flavor on the chicken was spot on & that BBQ was amazing. Come stop by you will not regret.

First time here, chatted with the owners, and he gave me a piece of jerk chicken to try and by far best smoked jerk chicken around!!! ordered the wing basket and side of Mac a cheese and potato salad, EVERYTHING was amazing with so much flavor!
