My favorite lunch spot in Marengo! They have a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and baked goods. They have rotating soup of the day. They have a great environment inside with retro items from the local area. If you frequent, you can join their rewards program as well.

Absolutely amazing little place!! I am so mad at myself for not finding out about it earlier. The owners are some of the nicest people I have met and had the biggest smile on their face the whole time I was there. I loved chatting with them and learning more about their small business. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you’re in good company and the restaurant is clean and has an great atmosphere. The homemade chips are absolutely delicious & I got a panini which was next level!! Prices are just as amazing as the food. $14 for a full meal and a drink…you can’t get that anymore!!

Local joint with the yummiest food. We aren’t local and were in town to pick up some furniture from Craigslist. Stopped in for a sandwich and a burger. The owner took our order. You can tell they pride themselves in quality and taste. Atmosphere is very homey. Wish I could give them 10 stars out of 5. If you’re going for sandwich, go for chicken pesto. So good.

Grabbed a crispy chicken wrap and tenders for my self and the kiddos. Food was INCREDIBLE. It was the best wrap I’ve eaten in my life, seriously. Kids ate every bit of the tenders and fries. Restaurant has a few tables, was super clean and the staff were very friendly. Very cute and well decorated. The only downside is the amount of self control required to not to buy several sweet treats on display. Great pricing and will absolutely be bringing clients in the future.

I usually like to support small local businesses, but unfortunately, my recent visit here was disappointing. My cousins and I (party of 11; ages between 3-21) came in ready to enjoy a meal, but the cashier’s rude and unprofessional attitude ruined the experience from the start.
One of my cousins was already walking over to throw out his drink when the cashier unnecessarily told him to “go throw it away then” — even though he clearly was already doing it. She rolled her eyes and made us feel like we were a problem just for being there.
Because of how unwelcome we felt, we decided to take our food to go instead of dining in. When we told the cashier we’d like to switch it to takeout, she got visibly annoyed and frustrated just because she had to transfer the food into a to-go box. Again, completely unnecessary attitude.
For a small local business, you’d think they’d appreciate and treat their local customers with more respect — because at the end of the day, that’s all you have. We came in hoping for good food and a good time, but we left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Won’t be coming back.

Favorite sandwich shop. Great service and awesome food. Prices are very reasonable. Recommend eating there, the sandwiches are so fresh they usually get a little soggy in transport. Not a big deal but they are best experienced when eaten on site. Ruben is Da Best! IMO.
