Dis place is smokn! No doubt this man is one of countys finest bbq chefs as his menu continues to tickle my palette. Tonite the feast was on lite side…with just sides. Swwwwwwt potatoes..my oh my. And broccoli salad was nothing shy of fantastix. The Brunswick stew is chunky and savory for this cold nite and the fried corn…well its just off the cob! I did steal a couple of my wifes …dang. Will be back..maybe tomorrow. Thx for great evening.

Loved this place! Friendly staff and good food. We had the pulled pork, brisket, kielbasa and grilled chicken. Everyone loved their food. The peanut butter pie is a nice way to end your meal. Other reviewers wrongly posted that the pork was ground it is not. It is pulled and chopped fine. It was moist and full of flavor. We will be back.

Clean environment, super friendly staff that makes you feel welcome and the food is the best bbq around. I cannot emphasize enough. THE BEST BBQ . We had the chopped pork, brisket and kielbasa. The portions are giant size. We also had tomato pie, mashed sweet potatoes, baked beans, and fried corn on the cob. The tomato pie is the best I’ve ever had.
But wait there’s more…. the pecan cobbler was amazing!!!! I would strongly suggest for everyone to try it for yourselves.

I was disappointed, the BBQ was to minced. The stew tasted like beans. The sauces was watered down.. My sweet potatoes was good and the corn muffin was good. The place is nice, the help and owner was great. Very clean!

This was my 1st& last time eating at the Flatrock BBQ.It’s sad to say but the best part of my meal was the corn muffin.The pulled pork was ground pork, the slaw was nothing more than shredded cabbage,mayo,&sweetner, the Brunswick stew tasted like cream corn with a few diced potatoes in it,no stew taste at all. I was really disappointed. The people were friendly enough, the cafe was clean & the price was decent. But the food was not what I was expecting after reading the reviews. I will say the ribs were fair.We need a good BBQ restaurant but for me this is not it.Sad but true:(

Update: No issues since first review. Food is consistent and always great. Changed to 5 stars.
Love the food by holding off a star because I received ribs one time that were completely overcooked with bones disintegrating.

This is amazing BBQ, I loved the service of our waitress and the owners are so pleasant. One day i even called to see if they were open and it wasn’t a regular business day and the owner even called me back to apologize and let me know the days the business would be open. So wonderful! I have not been dissapointed at all with the food, I eat so much everytime I can hardly move afterwards- flavors are great!

I had finally saved up enough to take my folks out there to eat and it was disappointing. The “pulled” pork was ground and the coleslaw was just lettuce with sugar and mayo. I’m sorry but i just think it’s not worth the money I spent.
