They do have a parking lot, which is great. To get in the pub, you have to walk up the sidewalk, which is a bit challenging for elderly people. Once inside, it was very dark and not many tables to seat 5 people. The server was nice. She however, brought our appetizers out with our lunch. I will now let our servers know what we want to come out before our main meal. Their music was great! The song choices and volume made it a very pleasant experience. We were still able to talk without raising our voices. The onion rings, perogies, Shepards pie, crab cakes, burger, and Asian lettuce wrap were delicious! Our side salad was a very nice size as well. I gave 4 stars on service because of appetizers coming out with our lunch and atmosphere was a bit too dark.

If you like French dips make sure to try the ones here. The bread is amazing as is the meat and sauce. I am always craving this sandwich and I probably think about it multiple times a week . My tater tots were nice and crispy, which was a plus and I tried Ricky’s Zuppa Toscana this time and it was not lacking on the sausage, potato and kale. It was delicious and chunky as you can see. I promise you there was not a drop left of that soup. I definitely left satisfied. The service here is always amazing.

My broiled crab cake sandwich- one side was clearly burnt. My wife’s feature fish and waffle fries were not good. The poor waitress had to take care of the top and the basement- our service was really not her fault. The owner just seemed very nonchalant. We may never go back.

We were in the area and looking for outside dining. It was our first time here. We ordered the pulled pork wrap, and the fish and chips, which were lunch specials. Drink special was Blue Moon on tap for only $3. We upgraded to waffle fries, which were perfectly crispy! My daughter enjoyed the mozzarella sticks. The only thing we weren’t thrilled about was the Buffalo chicken dip. It was bland (and a bit pricey for the quantity). Other than that, the waitress was attentive and the food was good.

Mango habanero wings and side salad were good. My wife said her Rachel wasn’t very good. I got the Shepherds Pie. Mainly ground beef without much seasoning. Hardly any vegetables or mashed potatoes. I’m going to try and fix it at home. Just need to add oregano, thyme, salt pepper, Worcestershire, garlic, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Pickle was the best part which isn’t saying much.

Flanagans is an Irish Pub on the outskirts of Reading. When we got there it was pretty busy and we sat in the lower level seating area. The establishment itself was clean. They have a large menu both food and draft list. Their drink selection was very good and I had a delicious berry cider. The food on the other hand was unfortunately nothing special. Typical pub food. We got the grilled Rachel with their crab and corn soup, beef tip stroganoff pasta, and the chicken sandwich with cheese fries as an appetizer. In my opinion it was all pretty bland and not much stood out. The fries were generic frozen fries with no seasoning, the only flavor the soup really had was all cayenne, and the beef tip pasta only had about 3 small pieces of beef. The chicken sandwich was the best rated out of the meal. I would go back for drinks as I enjoyed their draft list but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat dinner there again.

The food was delicious. We went before St Patrick’s Day and the Reubens filled me up and was well made. My only two constructive criticism would be put up better signage so new customers know where they should enter and make sure to create contact with customers as soon as they walk through the door so they aren’t left feeling out of place and uncertain. Once the waitress was assigned, and we got past that initial hurdle, everything was awesome, and we will be returning soon.

We sat outside. The food was really good but I wish there was some type of insect control because they were everywhere. Also, they should designate a smoking section around the building so those eating outside don’t have to inhale cancer.

First off, the service was great! And the food “looked” great, but thats about it. In the photo is chicken cordon blue w/Alfredo, wings and Asian lettuce cups. A few of us ordered different chicken meals and we all agreed, the chicken was horrible. Plus, alot of the food was cold. So decent but not great..
