Both Mexican food (birria is different but tastes so good) and Asian rice bowls.
Food tastes fresh and seasoned but not like drenched in sauce.
I have both eaten inside and ordered for takeout. Service is fast and friendly.
Leaves me wanting to try more of everything on their menu.
We had the #1 combo chicken teriyaki bowl, and the #4 beef+ chicken+ shrimp bowl. Will order them again.
Don’t forget the taco options too, crazy combination of cultures, I know!
Menu change??? There’s new Chinese dishes on the menu but I think the teriyaki bowl is still goated. The sauce on the Chinese dishes were very similar to eachother. It was like they just have a brown sauce and to make it sesame chicken they just put sesame seeds and to make it orange chicken just put orange peel. The only Chinese dish I thought was pretty good was the pepper steak as it tasted pretty good.
Looks like they saw my initial review too and started filling the yum yum sauce cups
Initial review:
Love at first bite
I LOVE this place. Tried the chicken teriyaki bowls first and its amazing. The teriyaki sauce isn’t too sweet, they put alot of it in the bowl to even cover the rice. And not to mention the chicken to rice ratio. I love about half rice half meat and these bowls never fall far from that.
The Boba tea is pretty good too. Its dairy free and I really like the flavor, even without the toppings.
The crab rangoons are better than average places and they do stay crunchy if you take out!, While the sweet and sour sauce with the rangoon tastes like its from a bottle ( which isn’t a bad thing), the yumyum sauce is what I’ve been wanting from places in Omaha for so long. It reminds me of a place back in Georgia I would always go to.
Now for what can be improved:
I want this place to succeed so I can keep eating here! So the first was the tacos (which is the only part of the Mexican side I’ve tried so far) which were kinda bland when I had them. The taco with the most flavor was the ground beef. And the sauces that come with the taco didn’t help a whole lot, the red sauce wasn’t even very spicy.
Lastly the yumyum sauce portion, if im paying .75 cents for a little cup, atleast fill it to the top. The place i mentioned earlier in Georgia would give atleast one for free with a bowl.
Anyway, if you’ve read this far I definitely recommend coming here. Try the teriyaki bowls and hopefully they’ll improve the Mexican side which I still have to try the fajitas and burrito so stay tuned for an updated review!
The staff was very comfortable adapting my order and removing any ingredients I didn’t want. General Tso’s Chicken, shrimp beef and pork teriyaki bowls, and pork nachos, all minus the ingredients I didn’t like. It was “Tasty!”
And if you eat in, the decor is covered in anime posters. One Piece, Dragon Ball, they have a ton of colorful engaging art all over the walls.
And their vending machines have a ton of fun random figures from games and anime like genshin impact, spy x family, one piece, chainsaw man, and others. They just take quarters. My kids love it.
My gf got the chicken teriyaki bowl with no veggies, and I got the beef teriyaki bowl with extra chicken and extra beef.
