Flames Mediterranean Restaurant has a really nice atmosphere — it feels welcoming and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel appreciated as a guest, and the service overall was great and attentive.
The food, however, was just okay based on what I ordered. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t quite stand out or meet my expectations. That said, I would be open to trying other dishes in the future.
Overall, a pleasant place with excellent hospitality and a warm vibe.

First time at Flames Mediterranean Restaurant in Shreveport. We loved it. Food was very flavorful. The Lamb Shank fell off the bone and was so good. Service was great, no wait time. Hummus brought to us as soon as we sat down. Price and atmosphere was perfect. Definitely going back.

This was in an experience that I won’t soon forget. Even though I’m not much of a hummus person, I did enjoy a little bit of it. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the lamb in my chicken and beef entree was amazing. The pistachio ice cream was divine and so different.
The staff was fabulous and the owner was extremely engaging. It made our night so much fun. We plan on going back very soon.

Wow! Personable service with love and hospitality! Where can you go these days that is beautiful and has amazing, friendly service? Flames! We tried the combo of beef and chicken and salmon and shrimp. I LOVED the beef! We also tried the lamb with special Flames sauce – delicious! For a special treat, we also had the cheesecake with a glass of champaign – a perfect end to a scrumptious dinner! Recommend the watermelon margarita!

My husband had eye surgery across the street, and we love mediterranean food so we thought we would give it a try. What a jewel! We were there as they opened on a weekday, so there was no waiting for a table. The building and decor are so tastefully done, it feels as though we are at a much more expensive restaurant. Our young waitress was helpful and pleasant. We had researched the menu previously and my husband knew he wanted the shrimp and salmon. I chose the chicken kabobs from the lunch menu. We also got the warm eggplant appetizer and added a Greek salad. The price was reasonable and we took some home. And that’s amazing since everything was so delicious! The owner came by and promised he had something to make my husband’s eye feel better. Dessert always helps! We ended up having a long, delightful chat with him. Definitely worth a drive to Shreveport!

We ate there yesterday and ordered from the 318 Restaurant Week menu. When we explained that my husband was allergic to onions, the chef offered to prepare a salad and dish without onions that wasnt on the special menu. Aquarius, our server, and Chef Sai were so nice accommodating. They took the time to talk with us, and were very friendly and generous. The food was excellent and more than enough for us. The restaurant is beautiful. We were treated so well we will definitely go back!

Drove up from Mobile Al for my niece graduation and went to Flames Mediterranean for dinner afterwards. WHAT A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!
The wait staff was attentive and patient with us, but the star was definitely Sia. He treated my family as if we were his own. We felt so incredibly welcome. I don’t get up to Shreveport too often, but next time I’m there, you can better bet I’m going to Flames Mediterranean Restaurant!!

This is an absolute gem of a place! As much as we goto Outback, we didn’t know this place was back there. The restaurant & outdoor patio was very clean & presentable. Our waitress, bartender, and other waiter staff were excellent. Our waitress talked us through the menu. Showed us favorites. Happy Hour is all day. The music & overall atmosphere vibe was nice. The food was tender & delicious! The complimentary pita & hummus was good. My salmon/shrimp kabob with cranberry rice had tons of flavor & tenderness. My wife had ordered chicken & steak, hers was just as good as my plate. Everything had a great taste packed with flavor. Salmon was probably the best of the meats that I’d recommend. She also enjoyed her watermelon martini & margaritas. Out of all the steakhouses we have tried lately, this place has alot of what we expected from those places food, service, & vibe for a fraction of the cost. Would definitely return & recommend to anybody who is looking for something different.
P.s. I seen some reviews about portions. This is a Mediterranean style restaurant in which Mediterranean diets usually consist half a plate of vegs & 1/4 meat vs. Western diets consist of 1/2 plate of meat & 1/4 veg.
